1. Yes, it really really is okay for you to see other people whille she is away. Given the situation, you would not have needed it, but she ALSO gave it to yes, you have true permission. It is not a test.
2. If she is the only person you have done anal with you need to consider that it will not feel the same with everyone and there are Real physical risks and you want someone you trust.
You should discuss this with her and possibly wait to do your gang bang b/c
A. She knows you. She may be able to anticipate things you would not about how you would feel in different situations. You may be surprised how little emotionally you feel if you are very connected with her and she is the only one that has done it. It really might not be what you think.
B. She knows you physically. She knows your physical threshold and can direct others without you having to direct from the sub position or risk real harm. One wants to feel "taken" but not "abused" -- Only one that knows you emotionally and physically can give that to you and let you trust and give in completely.
C. If there are issues following she can help you deal as your Domme and friend. She will have a better understanding of your needs, desires, experiences for future sessions and growth. There is someone to talk with if you need to and it can help give her ideas or inspire her to incorporate aspects of that in future sessions.
