Thoughts from me (Darcy), and I'm sure .dark. will want to add her own comment, as she has more faith than I do, but I hope all turns out well.

I don't often do this, but I think it's severe enough to merit.

They discovered a large tumor on top of my aunt's brain last week and are operating on it tomorrow.  If you feel you would like to, all positive thoughts and feelings for her would be appreciated.  This is the aunt I lived with in NJ and was owned by her and her husband for a time.

On the good news side of things, I discovered I have extremely high rates of diabetes, cancer, heart attacks and strokes on even MORE of my direct relatives on both sides of my family than I knew before.  I told my mother I was just going to carry the tradition and die at 60 of cancer.

My heart goes out to you and your aunt.. I also want to add that i have a theory that even though you may be faced with those things the world does not have to go that way i do beleave in mircles and god and i have seen things happen that i could not explain nor could a Dr

Sorry, no news.  I haven't called anyone either so as not to be a burden.  Generally in my family, death and disaster news travels fast, good ok news is slow.

i hope everything goes well for your aunt, she will be in my prayers.  i can understand your concern and fear about family history of diseases but don't assume that's going to be your fate - the mind and thoughts are powerful entities and can create the realities we think about and want.

I will add your aunt to my prayers...

I had also thought of adding my father in-law to a post, they found a decent size tumor in his intestines yesterday.  They did a CAT-Scan today and we will meet with a surgeon next week.

If you would all please add him to all of your prayers and thoughts, I would appreciate it very much.

to you and LA hugs and healing thoughts sent to you and your family. Goddess bless

Modern medicine can these days perform amazing surgerys with wondeful outcomes. Im sure your aunt is in the best of hands. She certainly has the support and love of her family, if you are any indication. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours. xo Soph

FInally got through to my mom- as expected, everyone thought everyone else had given me the news and no one returned my phone calls.

But all is fine- the surgery went well and they think they got everything.  The one downside is that she has to stay with her mothers in MD as her house now has fleas they have to deal with (9 indoor cats live there).

Thank you all so much for your support and thoughts, I really can't share how special it is for me.
