In the opinion of all those slaves/submissives, what do you honestly believe makes a truly great submissive/slave, W/e would like to hear the what A/all thoughts are?

Status: offline 		The sames things that would make them a good partner in any other way including vanilla. I look for the same things in any partner.  I think honesty, trustworthiness are some specifics that both should have. I also think their has to be a want to do these things not someone looking for someone to MAKE them into a sub or slave.  No one can make you become something you do not want to be.

Status: offline 		I'd have to say a strong motivating factor to serve along with the mindset of He instead of you or we . To leave  your pride behind you.Forget  what you have been taught as acceptable opening your mind to the exceptional.  revealing all of self at the risk of rejection  Having the confidence and courage  to reveal all your layers . good bad and ugly

The submissive needs to come to him with a fresh perspective and willingness to learn and trust .It's like he is speaking an entire new language spoken and unspoken .The submissive is a quiet study and her master is her facinating subject essentially he becomes her life .

I'd say the most important trait is to adapt and grow along with the master . To not resist  - transforming self being that caterpillar as The master transforms you into his ideal butterfly ~~~~Doll

Being open to learning another's body language and routines in time with much effort to details.
Being honest....if you do not know something, do not understand something clearly.....ask
It is opening the door to growth with the two......into being O/one......

Seriously, I must agree with LA, in that it all depends on what a Master/Dom seeks specifically in their slave/sub.  There are many wonderful qualities which I possess for which my current Master has absolutely no use.  It does not matter how well trained I am in these areas, because they are of no value to him.  The only ones that do matter are the ones he chooses.

It matters very little what I think would make a great submissive or slave. My opinions and ideals are not the same as others. All that matters is what those within the relationship agree upon.

Well what makes Y/you really a good person to begin with…but here are my four cornerstones to a relationship…Integrity, Honesty, Respect and Trust. Without these there can be no love, or friendship. I am not familiar with the “harder” sides of the lifestyle but if a relationship has these elements then the person in your life becomes the centre of Y/your world and is so much easier to give of yourself to the O/other.

Status: offline 		That would depend on the Dom/me involved now wouldn't it? I mean really it really does. Some would love a sub into pain and one who didn't like pain play wouldn't suit at all but it wouldn't be the same for all.

i think what makes a truly great slave is willingness, openness and humor. i need to be willing to learn and adapt to what my Master wants and needs, to learn Him and not compare Him to some model in my head. i need to be open to changing my perspective and attitude when what Master wants and needs isn't exactly what slave thinks she wants and needs and i definitely need a good sense of humor to keep a light heart with all this. After all it's not life or death.
