I suspect as much. I mean, obviously men would pursue any female in this way, but it surprises me that women- young attractive women- would engage in the same behavior.

The interesting thing is that I never had a main photo- I just had additional photos and I found out after talking to some girls that contacted me, that a few never saw my pic at all. I was quite confused as to why they would make such an effort to contact anyone as surely girls are flooded with mail as I am.

Perhaps girls that want Dommes are far more likely to go out and contact Dommes?

Status: offline 		You know, I'm beginning to think that it's my user id that's causing me my problems. I didn't think that I wouldn't be able to fix it when I punched it in. (lower case, no caps) I've asked support to help me deal with it, all I got was silence. Maybe I should make a new profile...

Hmmmm maybe they're fakes? That would logically make sense wouldn't it? i mean i get quite a few at times (not droves as i said b4) and it is obvious which are real deal girls (and some of those i've become friends with) and which ones are males just wanking or which ones just seem totally off...But...if they haven't seen your pic and it just seems too far fetched to believe...ummm maybe...

Status: offline 		As I said in another thread, I am feeling very metaphorical today...so, please bear with me.
 
'Tis the season...so I will tell you a Christmas story. Once upon a time, I was an UM and we celebrated the holidays with my mother's family (it is quite a large family). Anyway, Santa arrived and dropped off many presents for all of the children...but, I was disappointed! Some of the things that I had put on my list weren't there! The nerve of Santa! I then noticed a card under the tree from Santa. It said that he had gotten the addresses confused and that some of my presents were at home instead of at my grandparent's house. Wow! Silly Santa!
 
Later I realized why Santa had left gifts at my house, instead of with the rest...he didn't spend as much money on my cousins because some of my aunts and uncles didn't make as much money as my parents...in other words, they couldn't afford the upkeep of that pony! Imagine, Santa thinking that far ahead...and teaching me a lesson in humility.
 
Then in high school that lesson came back to me when my brother and I took the ACT on the same day...I scored much higher than he did, because he had a learning disability. Even though my score was great, it didn't qualify me for the particular scholarship that I had in mind. I didn't complain, though, because my brother was soooo happy with his score that I couldn't complain about mine without hurting his feelings. So, Santa had taught me humility and grace!
 
Kittty, I hope Santa delivers some of what I learned into your mailbox with all of the wonderful letters that you receive...and I hope you get the metaphor.

Hi kitttty,

I used Viggo because, of the images in the library, His image, and Aragorn in the books, is the least unlike Me, and because CollarMe absolutely refuses to show the photos I upload. I tried again early today, and the same thing happened: It accepts the photo, the end!

The girls in real life seem to flock to Viggo. This forum is the only place His photo shows. On My profile, which has only that stupid image of the woman folded over, I tell people to look at "Master-Dave.LiveJournal.com" for photos of Me (and more writing).

I doubt anyone, here or elsewhere, is inundated with desirable prospects. I just wish I were!

Status: offline 		I sometimes send an email back to the newly originated and usually poorly written out profile and state how absolutely incomprehensible it is to be healthy, 5'8", blue eyed, blond, and weigh a whopping 78 pounds.   I had one write me back and tell me to stop harassing her (him) or they were going to "report" me for calling them a fraud.   I think that is like the pot calling the kettle black.

i agree with you and i wonder why kitttty keeps avoiding the issue of why her profile is NOT acessible and yet she is recieving droves of cmail from these girls. How is this possible? THAT is what i want to know~
