Utterly disgraceful. He should have them and their families rounded up and shipped to Gitmo as subversives. They need some time in a camp for reeducation. If they cant respect the man, at least respect the office. I couldnt stand that weasel Clinton, but I held my tongue until he was out of office out of respect for the Presidency. Also bipolar - dont hold your breath for Obama to take office... Its not going to happen. If it takes Hillary in a book depository its not going to happen. Make no mistake, she may be standing beside him now, but back in May she was trying to stir up an assasination. Any semblence of party unity she is putting on now is just to put on a show for the 2012 "I told you so" tour. Due to his age, McCain will likely be a one term president - positioning Hillary nicely for 2012. If Obama is elected, that doesnt give Hillary another chance on the ticket till 2016 if he is elected to a second term and his VP doesnt decide to run, or 2020 if he makes as big of a clusterfuck of things as I think he would considering his complete lack of experience managing anything of signifigance and a republican is elected in 2012, or 2024 if Obama does two terms and then his running mate does two more... I dont see her waiting 8 - 12 - 16 years for another shot... Between the vicious opposition he will face from the Conservatives - and boy do we have some rabbits to pull out of the hat before November, the racist factor of the poor and blue collar white democrats who would vote for Elmo before they would vote for a black man, the angry women who were rabid Hillary supporters, the substantial Jewish democrat voting block who would elect Josef Mengele before they would elect someone of Arab descent, and the behind the scenes politics I am sure Hillary is going to be playing to position herself for 2012 Obama has one hell of an uphill battle ahead. The only person who wants John McCain elected more than me is Hillary Clinton! I think the Dems really fucked this one up... What I would have done, and as a republican I thank God it didnt happen this way, would have been to nominate Hillary and have Obama as VP. His time as VP would have given him credibility... Right now he has none, he is a freshman Senator who doesnt have a resume adequate to get him a job with my company... The biggest thing the man ever managed was a non-profit "The Developing Communities Project" - which had 13 employees and a budget of $400K. To put things in perspective, your average McDonalds has more than 13 employees and $400K in cashflows and I doubt anyone would say that being a McDonalds manager qualifies you for the oval office. By comparison your average Navy squadron - such as the one McCain commanded (managed) has 30 -36 officers, 250 or so enlisted men, and a budget and assets of several billion dollars. I readily admit I dont like the man for any of 1,000 reasons I wont list - but he is simply not qualified for this job. Look at his resume and think long and hard what he is qualified to do besides teach constitutional law. The Presidency has very little to do with constitutional law as it is the execuitive branch - ie management! Obama might be a decent attorney general, and with some experience on the federal bench he could have made a plausable democrat supreme court nominee but he doesnt have the management background to be President. The biggest thing he ever managed was smaller than a fast food outlet, and that doesnt qualify him to manage a country. An intermediate stop as say "Governor of Illinois" may have been a wise move to pad his resume with some experience, but a hell of a lot of us - both republican and democrat - see past the cult phenomenah and dont think that a freshman senator with no real world experience running anything is qualified to serve as chief executive of this nation. I dont think "President Obama" are two words you will hear, at least not this time around...
