If control is what a person wants from a contract, there are better ways of keeping that. I personally use a contract that was created by an attorney (Same man who was my mentor to become a Dom. I come from a line of "OG" rules in the way I was taught), and he practices here in the US and in Spain. Rules are different here than in Spain, but a good contract here, will show it was safe, sane and consentual, which is what the courts are concerned with. His instillment of protecting myself was taught early in training and last to the end. If the contract is one sided, it will break in the courts, if it is mutual, and fair to both sides, it has a chance, as long as the Dom doesn't break the contract even once. As for a contract to keep a person, there is no contract in the US that will do that, because they require the "consentual" part of our lifestyle required, and to keep a person beyond their desire is futual <SP>. He has tried several cases for the lifestyle, and he says it is harder to defend a lifestyle contract in the US, but it is possible. Just my 2 cents, for what it is worth. MC
