ORIGINAL: talmar Dommes do you enjoy incorporating cages as part of your sub training? Whats the longest you have caged a sub for? (Not a domme, but thought I'd throw in my two cents anyway.) I like cages a lot. In addition to being fun, they can be very utilitarian. I once caged a girl who was a couple hundred pages behind in her reading for a class. Since I caged the book with the girl, it was an excellent opportunity for her to catch up. And since she wasn't going anywhere when she was done, it later became a good opportunity for her to attentively have an earnest discussion with me about falling behind at doing something she was paying enormous money to do (go to college). Only after she satisfied me that she would endeavour to be better in future was she let out, and her clothes given back. It worked so well, I did it two more times - once so she could pay some bills (one was overdue), and once so she could place a phone call she was obligated to make, but dreaded. That's what I think of when you ask about cages and training. I think the phone call caging ran almost ten hours. (Stubborn! She seemed to think she'd be let out for potty breaks.) The longest I've seen someone caged for a scene was just a few hours, but I've heard of various more or less edgy players going for periods longer than a day. For scenes, I don't go in for duration as much as setting an intense mood, and making the cage-dweller feel as content, or vulnerable, or depraved, or exhibited, (or whatever the goal happens to be) as humanly possible.
