sophia37 -> dom/sub written contracts (2/25/2006 2:15:41 PM)

I found this article on a man who was in trouble after kidnapping his wife. Thats all I know about this couple. What was interesting, is that they posted a contract he made between himself and his sub. This is just such perfect reading for you collarme site folks.

SOooooo. What I wanna know is, after you take a look at this, (I sure hope the link works, let me know if not!) has anyone here ever written contracts of this sort? Tell me what you think.

Or if you like, tell me what you think of the way the web site presented this contract for its readers. Its plain they dont like the guy. Are you offended as much as they think you should be?

The contract isn't so much the issue it's that it reads that the guy is a blatant ass. Apparently his behavior played that out.

truesub4u -> RE: dom/sub written contracts (2/25/2006 2:32:14 PM)

ok I had to read it over 3 times.. to read more of what I missed while laughing my ass off.

Dom?... Ummmm no.... Master?... oh hell no..... Pathetic asshole?... Oh Hell yeah!

though not one time did he claim to be either or I know.. so pathetic asshole is what i seen. With serious control issues.

smilezz -> RE: dom/sub written contracts (2/25/2006 2:36:56 PM)

I heard a few people talking about this contract on the radio the other morning. I took a look at it.........sounds like the man wants what he wants. It may be a bit odd, but If she is willing to sign the pre-marriage contract then so be it.
It's not necessarily anything i would sign...but to each their own i 'spose.

~smilezz~

ownedgirlie -> RE: dom/sub written contracts (2/25/2006 2:39:39 PM)

This was in a different thread where most said they would have signed it. Just shows the diversity amongst us.

Master never cared about a contract. He said he either has my trust or he does not. i will either obey him or i will not. And so on...

bear372217355 -> RE: dom/sub written contracts (2/25/2006 2:40:08 PM)

He was already under arrest for child porn at the time his wife gave this contract to the police.

I have read the contract, and like I said in the other thread with this topic. The contract isn't that bad. It the spirit in which it was written that was wrong.

Yes, this guy is a real piece of work. No, this contract is not all bad.

I have a simular contract with mi'Lady. For good behaviour during our "nilla" aspect of life, she takes note of my actions, good or bad and accordingly, punishes or treats me, once collared and in her dungeon,lol. But it was written and signed in a more light hearted, mutual aspect, as apposed to the completely nonconsentual manner, that this meatball intended when he wrote the one you mentioned.

[X(]i only skimmed the contract :
page one says ,to me pretty fragile guy,you have to think,if my top wanted to be this fragile would i want to satisfy it.
page 2;...." do what ever i want to you; tied ,to the bed ,etc...."
no comment;somewhat typical ,of somebody.....,and,
sounds heavy s and m to me
page 3; no comment ;seems to be a repeat;
page four ,esp. , with regard to pics;he sounds like he wants records ,and proof- positive, to cover himself.
personally i dont care ,to elaborate;theres somebody ,for everybody;wasnt her;which makes it his problem under a microscope,for making the mistake or forcing the issue better accepted elsewhere.....is all i can conclude,with out much study.

angelic -> RE: dom/sub written contracts (2/25/2006 2:42:57 PM)

All i can say is THANK Kharma that the contract i wrote at the request of my 'x' was destroyed. "They" would have put me in the nuthouse and thrown that key in the nearest river.

i didn't think the contract here was bad at all, but like Oothers it was the sick person behind it.

Celeste43 -> RE: dom/sub written contracts (2/25/2006 3:05:36 PM)

The problem with that contract is that he wrote it and allowed her no input. If you notice, she is never allowed to object to anything or to pretend to be less than happy over everything he does. Basically no communication.

Contracts, legal or our kind, are agreements between two people. This is something he tried to impose upon her.

RiotGirl -> RE: dom/sub written contracts (2/25/2006 3:31:06 PM)

i read it.. it seemed silly. And i kept waiting to get to all the way.. "you will be whipped x amount of times on this day" and if you disobey or are Non compliant.. this terriblely sexy naughty thing will happen to you.

so all in and all.. i was very disapointed. Closest i got was "tied to a bed and i will do anything to you"

How drab!

Does anyone have any examples of Dom/sub contracts that are good?

MJ

My favorite is the one that Lawrence (topcat) posted some time ago, it's the 17th post on this thread:

Master/slave contracts

Greatcornbow -> RE: dom/sub written contracts (2/25/2006 8:01:52 PM)

I agree the man who wrote that contract is an ass; and as for the contract itself I dont think much of it either. I have seen better, and could write better; but the point is: what is a contract for?? It can't be enforceable, obviously, but it CAN be an expression of consent and commitment. This means it must have 2-way input.

More later, if I get the muse.

I agree... I liked his post... "contract" read the whole thing.. it was great.. it may not be to for some.. might be for others.. but it's a good start for those that want to make a contract up.. if that's their thing.

I'm more amused than offended, because the guy is clearly not all that bright, and he tends to contradict himself. What good are rules if you're making exceptions to the exceptions?

From what I've heard about this case, however, he's a bit creepier than this contract alone would indicate.

angelic -> RE: dom/sub written contracts (2/25/2006 9:56:10 PM)

What i did not understand about that article (not the contract) was the kidnapping... did i miss that part?

I believe the kidnapping charge stems from holding his wife as a "slave" in their home. I could be wrong, though. It's been a couple weeks since I first read articles about the case.

If Ssomeone has a link to a more indepth news report about this, would Yyou please post it or send it to me? thank Yyou

cloudboy -> RE: dom/sub written contracts (2/25/2006 10:16:41 PM)

This kind of helps answer Amayos' question about the public eye on consensual BDSM.

http://www.collarchat.com/m_274406/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm#274406

The contract looks like a straightforward experession of TPE to me. So if this guy is an "ass" or a lunatic, maybe the rest of us are not that far behind.

while i can see that if seriously extreme things could happen that somethign saying consent was given freely and without duress would be a good thing to have. overall though, seem to me a bit over the top. trust is all that it is based in and that should be enough to satisify.
personally that is just my opinion.
