LEts make it clear so those who come here understand why some get labeled.

Well there are many types of trolls. I'll start with the first definition. Its very good luck and used for bingo

Quote from me from another thread ...

Because it's 2 in the morning, and I got nothing else to do... and insomnia has decided to return to my world.  And I have a tummy ache.  And .. yeah... where was I ... Oh yeah... you wanted a question:  here you go.

*********************************

So you're going through a forest and you get to a river.  There are two bridges to cross the river.  One bridge leads to death, the other to safety.

There are two trolls at the bridge.  They will not allow you to cross the bridge until you solve this riddle.  However, one troll always speaks the truth, the other one always lies.  You don't know which troll lies and which one speaks the truth.  You may ask only one question to only one troll.  What one question do you ask and which one do you ask?

The goal (in case you lost it in the question) is to ask only one question that will indicate to you which bridge you should cross in order to get safe passage home.

Have a nice day,
sunshine,

Somebody who goes to alt.music.NIN and posts that Trent Reznor is a talentless goth tosser who needs shooting is probably a troll.

Only one of them will have pants that are on fire.

From memory you ask one if the other lies and then based on the response you can tell if they are the liar or not.

I walk up to one of the tolls, kick him in the nuts, pull out my elephant gun and put the barrel in his mouth and with my finger on the trigger, say, "Now, I do not want to play any f***ing games asshole!  Which is the safe bridge?  Keep in mind, rock head, that you are going to be walking in front of me!"

It works EVERY time!

You ask which bridge the other guy would tell you to go over for safety... and then do the opposite.

There are numerous kinds of trolls, this site tends to cover the majority of them, their habits, behaviors and social structures.

Hah... thats a pretty good list of trolls.

I recognized a few of them. I had to laugh at "Archivist" because she was trying to give me shit a little earlier in the Politics & Religion threads...

"Godzilla" made an appearance and briefly came stomping through a thread over there too. I'm just glad that no one got hurt!

What a great site. Thanks for pointing it out. I find it hilarious, sad, and a little bit comforting to recognize so man of my fellow CM posters (and, I confess, myself as well) represented there. And I havent even come close to reading them all yet.

The troll in your pic is very cute. However the trolls that I've seen here are not cute, not even remotely. They remind me of yeti's with their foot caught in a trap yelling and banging on the ground to get loose. Most animals would have the instinct to gnaw off their own leg to get free but not the CM troll. The CM troll is a very special troll and the rumor is that the CM trolls wear special helmets and ride the short bus to school.
