Status: offline 		Fwiw, the Barack Obama page says clearly, "This account is run by #Obama2012 campaign staff. Tweets from the President are signed -bo."

There is indeed a tweet from the President, saying, "As painful as this day is and always will be, it leaves us with the lesson that no act of terrorism can ever change what we stand for. -bo"

Between that and the President's Pentagon appearance, is anyone seriously arguing that he didn't take this grim day seriously? Or is this just another opportunity to score partisan points at any cost?

I realize we live in a time of hyperpartisanship, but dueling 9/11 tweets is a new low, particularly from the perspective of one who knew, as I did, flesh-and-blood people who died that day.

Status: offline 		I was invited to a 9/11 memorial by a friend who's a firefighter and was mourning the friends he'd lost that day.

Right now my mood when it comes to 9/11 jokes is: prone to physical violence.

Status: offline 		Well given that Obama gave the go ahead to attack and kill Bin Laden, I'm not offended by the election tweet. I think Obama takes 9/11 seriously. Seriously enough to locate and kill the person who was one of the key masterminds behind the event. Those who want to judge his sincerity about 9/11 based on this one tweet are being very lame.....

All the resulting pulls were because they referenced the pulled post. Since the subject of 9/11 tweets was exhausted in part to date specificity( is that a word lol) this thread will be locked.
