I would like to know . . .

Your opinions on "lifestyle" contracts.

Do you implement them in your relationships?

Why or why not?

Thank you,

I never have, because generally I find them confining (that is, for the DOM)--but I understand why others do, and could even imagine myself insisting on a contract if the circumstances called for it. Some slaves need the security of a written document; I've just never met one who did.

I think they are a good idea for both long and short term relationships. I even use a contract which can be ongoing for My Pro sessions.

Yes.

For Me it is the best way to have everything up front and clear. Contracts can be written on an individual basis, and can be somewhat elastic (like our constitution?) to allow breathing room for the Dom/me and even for the sub/slave. Everything is written down, with reasonable wiggle room for both. Both sign it, and the slave, to My mind, is making a stronger committment. he may also feel a bit more secure. I have promises and obligations in the contract Myself that I am making to him. It is right there in black and white.

You're welcome!

While my master and I don't have a true contract, I've found that he feels more comfortable tormenting the hell out of me if I've witten it down somewhere. Mostly if we a re about to try something new. I just write a little contract saying everything I willing to abide by (Which is most of whatever he wants, I have no interest in making those choices) and he's fine and dandy from that point. It serves very little other perpose than to set him at ease the first few times we try something because as we experiment things change. We are in a odd situation however, we were together for nine year before we both learned the other wanted the same thing.
