Destroying another person's property is not an acceptable protest form and should not be defended with any weak argument, I'm inclined to agree with Archer on this, assuming (as I think he does) that the society in question provides other avenues--voting, peaceful protests, etc.--for voicing grievances. I suppose that means I should rethink the Boston Tea Party, though I suppose the Sons of Liberty would have argued that peaceful avenues of protest were not available to them.
