LadyPact -> RE: Heroes-anybody a fan here? (5/11/2007 5:59:37 AM)

Agreed.  Nathan Petrelli is very much on the fence, but I don't think he'll cave when it comes to his brother.  Exactly what was 'the sacrafice" he was discussing while Peter and Clair were outside his office?  He doesn't seem that attatched to Clair, and the rest of his family haven't been brought up in the plot, so I'd have to think it's in relation to Peter in some way.  Has anybody wondered if Linderman can get Nathan's wife out of the wheelchair?

The other answer is easy.  Clair needs to be gotten out of town because she can get to the exploding man before he goes supernova.  Peter already made it very clear.  Save her from what?  She can't get hurt.  She already did that when Ted was about to explode at her family's house in TX.  She may not kill whichever one of them (Peter, Ted, or Sylar) is going to cause the catastrophe, but causing enough damage for the person to lose consciousness, is really all she needs to do.  Take note.... Ted wasn't in the future.  He was very noticably absent.

I think Nathan Petrelli isn't evil, he won't go along with their plan. If you watch Peter's dream from earlier episodes, his brother Nathan is just standing there watching him blow up with this weird look on his face(like an evil bastard)-that is Sylar.

So in the next episode, the shapechanger/Illusionist lady is gonna get killed by Sylar.

Dambbit!  That's it, I'm done reading this thread, that's a spoiler for me.  I was trying to wrap my brain around the shifting of Sylar to Nathan and my brain just farted.

You evil buzz killers,  [:(]  dambbit, dambbit, dambiit.   Well, considering I suffer with memory loss at times, maybe, I'll just forget this by the next episode.  [sm=lol.gif]

This all conjecture and guessing on my part, but when it comes to tv shows and movies, I'm almost a psychic.

SunNMoon -> RE: Heroes-anybody a fan here? (5/11/2007 4:49:42 PM)

Ok,
On the subject of the shapeshifter, I'm not sure she's going to get killed off next show, because it is some point in the next five years that it happens.

Now in regards to what Lady Pact posted: I'm wondering if Jessica/Nikki or Molly might be able to hurt Clair? Since I don't know what Molly will be able to do and it was hinted at that she could be able to stop Sylar. It just makes me wonder.

I hadn't thought about Nathan's wife and Linderman... hmmm... I thought "the sacrifice" was referring to New York being blown up.

daddysblondie -> RE: Heroes-anybody a fan here? (5/11/2007 5:06:18 PM)

Okay, I'm joining a little late in the discussion, but count me in among those that LOVE Heroes.

Why didn't I think about micah being used to "fix" the election? DUH! I almost wonder if he doesn't have something to do with helping to control the explosion as well??? I think there's a spot in last week's show, or in the previews where he is shown looking out the window over the city?

Hi Blondie,

I didn't even think about Micah being used to fix the election. That's good. Because isn't Nathan behind in the polls? That really is good.

Yes, it was in the painting. By the guy (sorry I can't remember his name, and I'm being lazy by not looking it up) who does the future paintings. Jessica/Nikki and DL saw it and are on there way to New York because of it. It was in Lindermen's art room.

JackHammer2000 -> RE: Heroes-anybody a fan here? (5/11/2007 5:20:26 PM)

OK I was just watching this past week's episode again and I realized something. That "Walker system" or whatever that Mr. Bennett, Nuclear Ted, and Parkman are going to NY to destroy is.....

That little girl. Molly Walker. The one Mohinder just saved who can tell where anyone who has an ability is...

I realized as Mr. Bennett said that the Walker system can find them anywhere - that it just knows where they are.

Maybe I'm late, I dunno, but...anyway. ACK. Poor kid!

iwannapullurhair -> RE: Heroes-anybody a fan here? (5/11/2007 6:13:52 PM)

HRG(Bennet) and the cop won't kill the girl(Molly) when they find out, but crazy nuclear Ted will probably take a shot at it.

LadyPact pointed out something to me that I had forgotten, so I went back and watched that episode on the NBC website. Isaac(the future painter) and Simone(Future painter's girlfriend) are in Peter's dream where he blows up. They are dead. Unless Hiro goes back and saves them, they shouldn't be there since the dreams come true. Maybe it is a mistake and the writers slipped up.

You can watch Peter's dream in Episode 11. Right after Nathan gets him out of the hospital near Claire's highschool. He is walking out and staggers and collapses. I think it is right at the end. They show it a few other times, but that is the first time. All the cast members are there in the dream(the main ones at the time of the showing). So Jessica, Mika, D.L., Parkmen, Claire, Nathan, Peter, Mohindar, and Isaac and Simone. In the dream all the cars are abandoned and their doors are open, so there must be some sort of forewarning to the public about some sort of mass danger.

LadyPact -> RE: Heroes-anybody a fan here? (5/12/2007 5:52:47 AM)

Taking a bit from a few of the most recent posts.......

I don't think Molly can hurt Clair.  Molly's power is just being able to locate other 'special' people.  Unless Molly has an additional power, she isn't able to hurt anyone.  Nikki might be able to hurt Clair, if she literally tore her apart.  Gross, I know, but it's the only way to describe it.

As for Molly stopping Sylar, I'm thinking it's more of Molly being able to lead others to where he will be, not killing him herself.  If Sylar dies, since they do show Issac's unfinished comic book with a picture of Hiro killing Sylar with the sword, I'm thinking three possibilities.  One is it's exactly that, in which is Hiro doing the honors.  Two, Candice (the shape shifter) takes Hiro's form and kills Sylar (which I doubt, since she works for Linderman).  Or, three, Peter gets close enough to Candice to absorb her power, takes Hiro's form, and kills Sylar.  Unless, of course, W/we get new information next week and someone else gets thrown into the mix.  Another thought on this..... Linderman wants this thing to happen, and has the power of bringing things back to life.  It's a stretch, but one possibility is Sylar is struck down, but because he is so useful, Linderman brings him back.  Another possibility, the drawing of Sylar being killed by Hiro isn't Sylar at all.  Rather the shape shifter after taking Sylar's form, and the real Sylar gets away.

I don't think Issac and Simone are in the explosion vision because Hiro went back in time and saved them (at least at this point).  Hiro is pretty convinced that going back to save people doesn't work after his experience with Charlie (the waitress with amazing memory) and future Hiro couldn't go back and save Ando.  If he could, he wouldn't have needed Peter Petrelli's help in saving Clair (save the cheerleader, save the world) at homecoming.

There, Rosa.  Now you have lots of possibilities so it isn't "spoiled".  See what happens when Lady Pact has no submissive to focus Her attention on?  <Chuckles>

iwannapullurhair -> RE: Heroes-anybody a fan here? (5/12/2007 1:10:32 PM)

When Mohindar first came to New York, there was a map on his father's appartment wall with a bunch of lines(threads or cords) connecting to different places. Did these lines show an interconnection between individuals?

LadyPact -> RE: Heroes-anybody a fan here? (5/12/2007 2:59:59 PM)

Could be either that or places they had moved during his search.  Could be people connecting, since there are cases of second and third generation people with abilities.

LadyPact -> RE: Heroes-anybody a fan here? (5/14/2007 6:27:54 AM)

Just a reminder...... New episode tonight for the diehard fans.

iwannapullurhair -> RE: Heroes-anybody a fan here? (5/14/2007 2:16:28 PM)

Two episodes left if you count tonight's episode!

SunNMoon -> RE: Heroes-anybody a fan here? (5/14/2007 3:19:52 PM)

yay! I just wounder if it will be back next season.... hmmm

LadyPact -> RE: Heroes-anybody a fan here? (5/14/2007 3:57:35 PM)

I'm hoping so.  New York not exploding could put the show left in a hard spot for the next challenging plot line, but could very well be worth it.

SunNMoon -> RE: Heroes-anybody a fan here? (5/14/2007 4:16:56 PM)

I was thinking maybe they have to go and fight Hiro's father. Or something along the lines of taking down the old group.

LadyPact -> RE: Heroes-anybody a fan here? (5/14/2007 4:25:46 PM)

I'm thinking it will be something along those lines.  Linderman, Takamora Sr., and Mama Petrelli could have some motive for all this from years ago.  Or, perhaps, back when the first generation Heroes were up and coming, maybe Linderman went corrupt and the other two elders will get involved in stopping him.  There are some plot twists that could keep the show strong through a next season

SunNMoon -> RE: Heroes-anybody a fan here? (5/14/2007 4:41:18 PM)

I very much agree with you. I can't wait to see what happens tonight. Will Clarie have to shoot Peter? I am happy to see that Clarie's Dad is with her again.

LadyPact -> RE: Heroes-anybody a fan here? (5/14/2007 7:51:44 PM)

Ok.  Time to recap.

Personally, I'm taking four geek points.  First, even though it hasn't been made public to the city of NY, yes, Linderman did heal Nathan's wife.  Second, Micah did win the election for Nathan, at Linderman's orchastration.  Third, the whole Molly Walker thing (her power is finding people, not hurting them.  Fourth, Nakamora Sr. (Hiro's father) is involved in fixing the sword.  Maybe I should only get a half a point for that, since Dad didn't actually fix it.  I think the other guy is doing that.

Turns out Clair's Dad didn't know this was just some kid.  I still don't think he'll hurt her, even though the standoff with Surresh implies otherwise.  I'm going to cheat here and say that, since he was helping to hide 'special' people in the future, he'll think more about keeping her away from the 'company'.  Nakamora Sr's power I'm kind of torn on.  Either warrior type or maybe he just has an incredibiliy long life span.  Haven't figured that out yet.  Still haven't figured out why Sylar wants to blow up NY now, unless it's just anger at himself over killing Ma.

One thing I am pretty sure of.  Linderman's not dead.  He'll just grow the damage to his brain back.

Worst plot twist of the week, that the blonde was really just interested in money and security.  If that was the case, I don't think she would have shoved dear old dad's check back in his mouth when they had their confrontation.

Cutest little ploy of the week is a tie.  Plotting the "Silver Surfer" comic book into the storyline, and then promoting the new Fantastic Four movie.  The other one was Candice (the shape shifter) 'looking' like an overweight black woman, and saying to Micah "How do you know I don't really look like this?".  That one kind of went along with the theory of Linderman/Candice really thinking they are going to make the world a better place...... After the acceptable losses in blowing up the city, of course.

FatDomDaddy -> RE: Heroes-anybody a fan here? (5/14/2007 8:28:54 PM)

That the beautiful hot chic who can change her appearance at will is really a super value meal, whole pizza eating, comic book collecting fatty is brilliant.

Man... when that gets shown there will be some serious pissed off rotund SciFi geeks and BBW mafia types

Gotta love how subversive this show is!!!!
