HELP!!!!!!!!!! We are trying to decide if we want breast implants done or not. Can anyone candidly share the types of breast play we will be able to continue when the implants are done. Someone told me yesterday that the play would be SEVERELY limited. And implied NON_EXISTANT. Implants would be gel and sub glandular

I would not do needle play, breast bondage, breast spanking, caning, slapping....I don't care how advanced implants have become...I don't trust them.  However...to be most comfortable I would ask a cosmetic surgeon.

I had breast implants put in in 1999. I had a lump, got it reconstucted, was offered to have a matching implant put in the left. My breasts had fed 3 children, i had the usual empty sacks of skin for tits. I never had them 'enlarged' just filled is how i prefer to view it. They are small to medium sized.

So for what its worth, here is what ive noticed.
  1. On the right breast, i have encapsulation to a certain degree. This is where kelloid scar tissue has encased part of the implant within the breast. Pressure on this breast hurts in not a good way, and continues to hurt after play. My implants are silicone by the way.
  2. My sensation after surgery had gone completely for about 6 months. It took 2 yrs, for the sensation to fully return. Its now fine. But there are 'dead' spots on my left breast, where i do not feel touch.
  3. Strangely, my breasts do not cool like normal tits. eg. when i get hot, the implant gets hot, i cool off, but the implant takes time to cool. Like hot water bottles lol this makes the use of ice, more intense than it ever was before, so a bonus.
  4. My breasts are very robust, will not break, have taken some hammering with no undue harm caused.

The only difference having implants have made for me, is how much more confident i feel as a woman having them. They look more gorgeous than other breasts this age. Its fantastic.
They flog the same, get bound the same, take pain and pleasure the same.
The mammograms hurt more though.

i had breast implants back in 1978.  my doctor was a genius.  He used saline, not silicone and made a 1-inch incision at the bottom 'fold' of the breast instead of nipple or armpit like they tend to do today. He also chose the size for me based on what would look normal and natural not trying to go for BIG.   The implants float between the breast tissue and the chest wall and jiggle like they are supposed to.  i have breast-fed two children.  i have engaged in fairly severe breast bondage, nipple torture and breast beatings and floggings with no ill effect, in fact i love it.  The only activity i do not engage in is needles but frankly if i didn't have a needle phobia, needles around the nipple or breast skin would be fine.  i have had no loss of sensitivity in the least, in fact my nipple to wetness value works extremely well thankyouverymuch.  Mammograms have to be done a little differently but i still get mine done every year and everything has been a-ok!

Like anything, the motive for getting implants is what is important.  For me, i was quite petite with fried-egg titties and had air-pockets in form-fitting clothes where the breasts were supposed to go.  i am now only about a B-1/2 cup but i am now hour-glass instead of pear.  i'm very glad i did it and even more pleased that i got a really great surgeon.

I dont quite get the concern for needles?
they arent balloons, and ive yet to see needles inserted at a 90 degree angle to the skin!
Confused?

For me, i have a needle phobia period not the placement of them. i wouldn't want them in my back either.  If not for that phobia i can't see any reason not to engage in needle play with breast implants because most folks aren't going to skewer the entire breast, just the skin.

Thank you everyone for your replies. There was a lady in with us who works for the dr, and she was very uncomfortable with our questions related to how much play can they take, and never really answered the questions, as she did not want to "go there". Her attitude made me very uncomforatable and my Master finally told her that he was obvisously making her uncomfortable and the conversation did not improve thereafter.

Oddly she also said that all of my peircings would have to come out prior to surgery. If I had nipple peircings I could have understood.

Most assuredly, more information and maybe a different Dr. is in order in this case. My tattoos raise a significant issue as well.

Again, thank you for all of your comments, and even second hand helped...

I went from a 34A to a 34DD two years ago. I asked the nurse at my plastic surgeon's office, "What if my boyfriend "did" something to them...like squished them REALLY REALLY hard...or say...BIT them??"

She said the type I was getting (Mentor Spectrum Round High Profile--750cc saline) had been tested by being thrown out a second story window and run over by a truck!

Since then we have done needle play, nipple clamps, clothespins, and certain types of breast bondage. The only problem I've ever had was just recently...after having wide rubber-bands around the entire breast for about 15 minutes the implant rotated slightly and I got a "numb" tingly sensation. I gently massaged it back into place and other than some minor bruising where it was pressing I am fine. Needle play is no big deal--my implants are under the muscle and NO WAY is a needle going that deep into me! They make you take your piercings out during the surgery for safety/cleanliness reasons. Lots of people with breast implants have/get piercings. Just use common sense.

I wouldn't trade my implants for anything! Except bigger ones! Ha ha ha!!!

You will not be allowed to wear any metal piercing jewelry into the OR, regardless of where the piercings are relative to the site of surgery. I have had to have a couple of surgeries this past year and I used plastic jewelry to keep the piercings intact. I've never been asked to do that before but the hospital explained that there are new safety guidelines (OSHA?) because of the increased use of lasers in the OR and that no exceptions are made. They said they will even cut wedding rings off now if they can't be removed.

I forgot to answer your original question. I do have a friend who had silicone implants that had one rupture during play....actually from "rough squeezing" is the way she put it. She became very ill from the silicone.

Just wanted to say it was almost for sure the ones that leaked were the old liquid type, as the new silicone gels really  can't leak...even if were to be punctured by something (say with a knife or during a car accident, etc).  I think if you keep in mind that even normal breasts should not  be overly abused, which can cause internal structure damage, say by hard slapping, and use general common sense that you should not have a problem with the new durable silicone styles, especially using sub-muscular placement.  However nerve damage just getting them in place can be a more significant problem as someone already mentioned and full sensation recovery may not happen, as with me...using arm pit method (just one side is partially numb).

You might explore the various options on doing this which also varies by surgeron's perferences.  Besides access through the armpit, under breast, through the areolae (nipple area) there is the higher-end new "no scar" method of going through the belly button.Using either silicone gels (pre-filled of course) verus saline (filled after placement), and size of implant may be major deciding factors on placement method.

The modern silicone gels not only last longer, makes breasts a bit bigger, but likely will improve their shape and give a "lift" to them if they have started to sag, or are that way by nature.  And that is besides improving one's overall figure and even making clothes look better, if one does not go too large of course.  To reduce the risk of encapsulation most surgeons recommend textured ones, and to reduce the risk of shifting the "round" ones are generally preferred over anatomically shaped ones.  Many tend to go for the "high profile" verus "normal" shape.  Also doing your self massage as directed over the long haul also helps keep them flexable and more natural looking (as they move with  your natural breasts).  Regardless, plan on a lifespan of about 10 years before needing replacement for whatever reason, but the new styles may go a bit longer.  One last thought is to choose your surgeon carefully, as even using the same implant and insertion method may have different results, and degree of nerve loss risks.
