OMG all you whiny little "subs" need to grow up.  I have seen sooo many profiles popping up with all this whining about "how fake people are on here" DUH its online. You WILL run into a lot of fakes. Have you ever stopped to think that’s why Dommes ( and Doms I'm assuming ) have been on here for so long and haven't met anyone.  Not to mention the fact that its not the best of ideas to run out and meet someone in real life after only a few times talking online.  I realize that there are some instances where meeting someone that soon has worked out, but with My luck, I would meet the crazy ones that will end up stalking you. 

Just because I am not interested in you does not mean I am fake.

I can’t believe ( well I can ) how many subs are interested in Me and say how pretty I am and how smart and unlike all of the other Dommes and all the other BS they say to try and get attention and then the second I tell them I am not interested for whatever reason, I suddenly become a spoiled little girl just playing around on here.  Its neat how quickly that changes.

Like I said to someone ( YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE ).  Maybe you subs should accept the fact that there are a lot of fakes on here and stop demanding that the Domme PROVE TO YOU that they are not fake in the first message.  So what if you waste a little time talking to someone and nothing comes of it?

I'm sure there have been TONS of posts about this and I don’t really have a question… just looking to rant.  Thanks for reading.

What matters is you know you are not a fake and the person you eventually end up with knows this too.  All the others...who cares?  Don't let it bother you.

If every woman on collarme who was not interested in me was a fake, that would mean at least three...maybe two...would be fakes, and that just doesn't seem right to me. [:)]

I can't give the many different reasons why jerks throw out accusations that you're a fake because they've been rejected (although that seems like a pretty obvious one there), but I think as long as you know what you are and are seeking what is best for you, then who really cares what random people in your inbox say?

Life lesson:

When you come and point a beranted finger at a certain section of the population (in this instance, subs and slaves) prior to being generally known or at least properly introduced, one must expect a rather large segment of said section to meet your general rant with opposition and hostility.

In other words, bitchin' at the whole crowd is neither winning you any friends nor validating your point.

Well, I haven't been here for very long, but my partner and I have idly explored the "online scene" for several years and have had no such luck.  I've met a lot of interesting people and made a lot of friends, but in terms of finding someone for a relationship ... no.

I think that anyone on this thread would probably agree with the statement that being that this is the internet, this sort of thing is to be expected.  It's a lot easier for someone to confess their interests in this lifestyle while comfortably anonymous ... even if they're far too terrified to actually step forward and try it or otherwise prove their identity.

That's not alltogether a bad thing, though.  Hopefully one day these people who are curious but not willing to "take the plunge" will have enough exposure to communities like this that they will take their first brave steps into the larger world that these lifestyles offer.  If it does eventually bring new people in, I guess it serves some constructive purpose.  I don't know about anyone else, but myself and my partner don't really actively 'look' anymore online.  We'll put the profile up and if someone genuine happens to come our way, great ... but the zeal with which one pursues it tends to wane (at least in our experience) the longer one looks online.

For the rest of the posters, I assume that this is ultimately what the OP meant, save for venting frustration at the subs who are demanding instant real-life contact ... as Najakcharmer humorously illustrated.  I imagine there are probably just as many Dom/mes who are guilty of the same thing, though.

It's a fact, there are fakers. What do you expect on a place like this? And dear, there are just as many fake doms as well.

But just because someone has been on here for sometime without finding their match, doesn't mean they are fakers. It just means they are cautious.
