Lots of bikes here now!
They started rolling in wednesday afternoon but it doesn't kick in officially until friday.
We took a ride up to "Broadway at the Beach" this afternoon and there must have been about 3.000 bikes in the parking lot.
Lots of venders, girls in bikinis selling beer all kinds of activity.
I must have seen 30 of those big beer trucks in the last few days making deliveries.
In 2004 the first year I was here the News reported "420,000 bikers."
I don't know if there's that many here this year but they're everywhere.

Heh, good luck with that.

Got temporarily stuck behind two clowns on Boss Hoss (Chevy V-8 powered) bikes headed your way last night... they didn't seem inclined to do more than 50 in a 55, but they sure made a lot of noise in the process.

Sounds like a great party!  You going to go check it out, Popeye?

Aileen, that is a real bummer that you cannot make it!

I know why that is ....
That speed maximises the intensity of the vibes that come up thru the saddle into the vital organs.

I've said it before, these bikes are Orgasmatrons for the masses.
