MzMia -> HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!--and a question, lol (5/12/2007 10:47:42 PM)

****Happy Mother's Day**** to all the ladies here that are mother's, have mother's and those like
myself that participate in a mothering role.
Being a good mother has to be the hardest job in the world, as Oprah always says.
Every day should be Mother's Day!
Cheers ladies!

As someone that spends many Saturdays and other days tending to my favorite UM's, my niece and nephew.
And, someone that plans to adopt in the next year or so....I am wondering how you manage to have time to
spend with a submissive and/how you make it work for you.
After spending almost 11 hours with my babies today {taking them to Tae Kwan Do, dance lessons, the store
3 times, helping them at home, etc.} I really do not know how full time mommies do it!
What is the ancient chinese secret ladies? I only plan to adopt 1 UM, but damn how do you find the or make the time

for you and your submissive?[;)]

Hi MzMia

Happy mothers day [:)]     All i can tell you is that its hard work sometimes and you have to grab every given oppourtunity.  I'm fortunate that my um goes to her nanas every saturday so thats the day I get my maid over or when me and my boy plan things.  A lock on the bedroom door and doing it quiet also helps lol.

It is hard work but we do manage and it does make us use what time we have better and appreciate it more.
Thats great news about you wanting to adopt [:D]  I hope it all works out for you. Having children brings so much joy to your life it just takes about 15 hours a day off you lol.

Happy Mothers Day, Kay...I know it is hard work to raise a UM and have a relationship.
You are making it work.  I agree about the 15 hours a day.
I can understand how precious the time is that you and your boy have together, and dang it
I still think about you and your key.
Happy Mothers Day![:)]

The ancient Chinese secret is.....

You just do it!.

Seriously, my UM is 22, and it wasn't ever something I thought about. I just did it. Yes, it does mean for lots of interruptions. Nothing like having a boy bound and gagged, wax a dripping and hear..."Mommy, I don't feel good" from the other side of the door. It can be frustrating, I'm not going to lie to you. You find the time. You may even have to actually schedule it sometimes, but the point is that you have to actively make time for it (BDSM) and for you.

I was a young parent, a single parent, and there are times I think I'm very lucky that I was.I spent the years from 18 to 36 raising my son. I jokingly tell people that I was too young to know how tired I was at the time. My friends are just now starting families and I often hear from one in particular stay at home Mom friend of mine.."I don't have a clue how you worked 2 jobs, raised A to be such a great kid and found time for yourself. There are days I can't even go to the bathroom for 5 minutes without one of the little buggers knocking on the door like I've suddenly teleported elsewhere." Truth is, I don't know how I did it either. I just somehow got through it. You will too.

I think you rock! Wanting to adopt is an awesome thing. In the end, don't worry about it. You'll find the time.

earthycouple -> RE: HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!--and a question, lol (5/13/2007 3:27:26 AM)

I concur with just do it.  I have two and luckily for me my husband is good, nay wonderful about helping out when I need time with my slave.  The other big thing is finding a slave who's smart enough to get it and willing enough to accept it.

I try never to short change anyone and we all live as a happy loving home.  My husband knows when it comes down to it, he and the other little two come first and that makes it easy for him to be as wonderful as he is to me in these regards.

I often think what people think is so different about making time for a slave than a husband or a boyfriend....but apparently there must be something that these threads pop up.

canupleaseme -> RE: HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!--and a question, lol (5/13/2007 3:35:15 AM)

Lol I still miss it MzMia but apparently I have a suprise coming to replace it so.... I will let you know.

It is hard work especially raising them on your own.  My Um's dad is terrible and has nothing to do with her.  There are times when I feel like I'm going crazy or have decisions to make that I cant rely on anyone else to help me with and its hard.  But on mothers day (ours was in march) I got breakfast in bed (cereal with banana milk on :s)  And the biggest hug and you remember how good it all is really.

It is hard maintaining a relationship with our D/s part and having a UM but it does still work.
Ive only had one occasion where shes been on the other side of the door shouting me and ive had to rush about but it would of been the same if we had of been having vanilla sex.  You just have to have eyes and ears in the back on your head lol

HutchGarahl -> RE: HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!--and a question, lol (5/13/2007 5:38:20 AM)

How did I do it?? LOL! Can't really tell ya. I just did it. I raised 3 children, alone of course. My son being a medically ill child. I can tell ya this...it wasn't easy by a long shot. Nothing like having to stop right in the middle of playtime because my son stops breathing.

There's really no set way into raising children and living the style, it just happens. But when you have children, it does kind of make your special moments with your partner all that more intensifying and special.

Congratulations on adopting. I'm sure you'll do just fine. You already have experience with caring for your neice and nephew.....now ya just apply the same with your own little one.

Happy Mothers day all.

MsKatHouston -> RE: HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!--and a question, lol (5/13/2007 8:47:20 AM)

Happy Mother's Day, ladies :)

I concur.  You just do it.  Whenever something is important to you, you make time in your life.  It's really not as difficult as it seems though when you break down the details it may seem so.  Good luck with the adoption, I'm sure you'll work it out just fine

MzMia -> RE: HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!--and a question, lol (5/13/2007 8:50:34 AM)

***Thank you all for sharing***
I have to agree, it is a lot harder physically after 40.

But it is so worth it, look you gotta serve someone. [:D]
Auntie Mia needs a video camera real soon, her UM's are in a play, dancing in a performance,
taking black belt exam, and two graduations!
To be honest, I know this is why I don't mind being single, I have been Blessed to be able to help raise these
two, so my life is full. It really does take a village.
Life is good.[;)]
Happy Mothers Day!

Nikko1962 -> RE: HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!--and a question, lol (5/13/2007 3:09:20 PM)

Thanks for the nice post.  My mother was 15 when I was born and my father 16.  They have stayed together since then.  I don't know how she/they did it.  They started with nothing. I actually went to my fathers high school basketball games "in person".

Recently I heard a variation of the Little Red Riding Hood story and scripting.  When I heard "Script", I thought of this site.  Here's to add a bit of humor for today.  Apologies to Mr. Grimm.

As Little Red Riding Hood walked into her grandmothers bedroom, there lay her grandmother (the wolf) with her cap pulled far over her face, and looking very strange.

    'Oh! grandmother,' she said, 'what big ears you have!'
    'All the better to hear you with, my child,' was the reply.
    'But, grandmother, what big eyes you have!' she said.
    'All the better to see you with, my dear.'
    'But, grandmother, what large hands you have!'
    'All the better to hug you with.'
    'Oh! but, grandmother, what a very large bulge in your pants you have!'
    'All the better to f**k you with!'
’Whoa there big fellow’, said Little Red Riding Hood, ‘Stick to the script, eat me’.
