Dear AlderTheKitty, Ladies and Gentlemen;
 
There is a saying by Dr. Phil; who says in summary--you teach people how to treat you.  If such people are not making your day per se; don't empower them and seek those women who have a kind nature and or those qualities that you seek.
 
Lessons I've learned have been, I cannot control others and or their behavior however, I can control mine.  I draw polite people and good people.  You find when the majority is similar to you it makes it more difficult to allow a potty mouth, know it all who is more domineering and or controlling, rather than Dominant to exist in your world.  Their discomfort causes them to leave.
 
Just some thoughts.

I personally pay no attention to folks who believe or say the things you write about in the OP.

Sadly there are many men who read and watch porn where that type of language and attitude is very common. Therefore some women believe they must behave that way to attract them -- or perhaps they read/watch the same porn.

If you find yourself attracted to the profiles of these women for other reasons I strongly suggest figuring out what is attracting you and then working on changing that or on just ignoring the ones you don't like.

It's a lot of negative energy to get angry at someone who you don't even know and who have very little impact on your life. Save the energy for politicians and business owners who do affect your every day life.

I personally think it has two causes.

First pornography which plays up these negative ideas.

Second apply what you learned in your childhood.

Both of these can be dealt with by only my the individual willing to do something. In the first case stop reading or looking at that type of pornography and over time you can reprogram yourself to find other things attractive and arousing too. In the second that will take therapy and lots of hard personal work.

To the OP,

No matter how offensive you may find a profile or an ad, you should try and remember that it is not personal.  They don't know who you are and they didn't write their ad or profile with the express purpose of pissing you off.  They don't know you and they don't care about your outrage.  Possibly you should follow their lead.

PS - the 'caring about all the new subbies' line is old and patently false.  Your main motivation here is how hurt you were by a previous relationship and not how you care for the new and shiny "adults" who identify as 'submissive males'.

I suppose that women (dom or sub) have a similar complaint about us men - Why is it that all men see women as walking sex toys?  There are always going to be bad people giving a bad name to something.  In this instance its frustrating (to you) that there are women out there who are demanding money for you to submit. 

I've commented on this before myself.  There has been some good advice given already, and I completely agree. Skip the ones that aren't compatible and keep looking.  Try not to let it get you down while you search for a woman to serve and submit to.

Only you can make you a victim.  Life is hard, we go through rough times but in the end we have to trust our own judgement.  It is up to each person to make a choice.  We (those of us who choose NOT to harm) can not fix those who do harm or save those who fall into harm's way without thinking first.

I am a jumper by nature.  Sometimes it hurts and I learn from it.  Never was I a victim to anyone (believing I am only gives my power away and I choose not to give my power to harmful people).

I feel that I can be (and am) the very best loving and caring dominant I can and if someone chooses to judge me based on passed experiences with someone I probably don't even know....well... I can't change that and I'm happy to pass him by.

If men didn't respond to those profiles (and they do, by the thousands) the women would take them down.

It's that simple. It doesn't reflect on me at all.

I value my subs and collared slaves veeery much, and care for them as both subbies and people.  You just have to ignore people sometimes if they're not to your liking - people are into different things.  Although I personally cannot stand the type you're talking about........and I end up seeing them in person all the time!  I kindly avoid them and give my attention to my subs, not to their needs for attention from eeeveryone.

I tolerate it about as well as I tolerate boors at parties, snobs in restaurants and bad politicians---its all part and parcel of living in the sea of humanity--and hope that day by day, class rises to the top!

It falls under respecting others' kinks.  That's what some are into, I don't have a problem with it.
