Several times I have gone into chat and asked if it was mIRC and waited for someone to help me out. All times I have been blown off. Is this the norm? Please clue me in and if so I will seek elsewhere.

If it had been the first time I would of understood, but this has happened more than once. I understand that once or twice might be look over, but I have been in chat several times and it seems if you do not belong to certain 'cliques' then you are ignored.

Yup that's just it , you hit it on the nose. It's all about the clicks. Or who's in the room at the time.

Thank you FelinePersuasion...I was really hoping this was not the norm as for the most part my experience here has been more than positive. This indeed puts a damper on things.

Well I tried yet again on the advice of a sub...you know who you are and thank you so much. Still I feel very unwelcome here. Thank you for you whom have tried. Your advice has not gone unheeded.

Maj clicks are everywhere you go. It's just a fact of life, and while you'd hope a bdsm" comunity" would be more accepting of others than most, there's a few here who're the first to throw stones.

Well Majik, I don't chat, don't know what mIRC does, or I would help you... You cannot worry yourself too much about what is floating flaky individual boats on individual days, because a lot of people lack depth and sufficient kindness to extend even the simple courtesy of saying hello; so you're going to feel bad because some days people suck? No, you learn to deal with whatever s**t is in your face at the time and move on. Welcome to collarme, the boards are usually kool... M

I think mIRC is a specific program for getting into a certian type of chat.. I think the chat on collarme.com is Java based. Though I sound like I know what I'm talking about, I don't :) This does though! http://www.mirc.com/

FYI, if you want to be in my "clique", feel welcome to join, it's just an eclectic bunch of people I like to call "everybody" winks Don't know anything about MIRC either, but really sorry to hear you've had such a bad time with chatrooms, I really know that feeling. I'm glad to hear you haven't given up on us! there are so many awesome people here, honestly, once I overcame my shyness (yes, no one say a word, I get shy!!) and plunged in, it was great [:D] Have fun making connections and meeting people, I hope you have a good time here :) Minx

Majik, if you are talking about collarme's lobby chatroom don't be disheartened.. that place is horrible! There are other chatrooms accesible directly through collarme.... email me and I'll tell you where I go on occasion, where the group is very nice and welcoming and fun too! cello

woot! hey fate! hugggggggs :-) I just now figured out how to use MIRC on chat now too ... woo hooooo! :-) I also like chatting on irc.bondage.com as well: irc://irc.bondage.com:6667 I am ProphetPX on there as well :-) I believe they require you to have a login there tho, in order to reserve a nickname ... so use this @ over there: /msg IDENTIFY NickServ __password__ that chat is very good as well [:)]
