get rid of the junk that clutters your life

once you remove that.... then it is much easier to put everything in its proper place or in proper prospective

Throw away or donate stuff that you haven't touched in the last year. Clothes that don't fit are great donatable items. Try boxing up a lot of knick-knack stuff and put that aside, in 3 months open the box & get rid of the stuff that you don't use.
Every time you bring something new into the house get rid of 2 older items.

Try and group like with like, keep the bills together etc. Always put stuff away when you're done using it.

note that you should write down a manifest of what you donate, you can charge fair market against your taxes.  Usually the Salvation Army (Sallie's) and GoodWill etc will give you a cheat sheet of what they sell stuff for. There is an IRS circular Charitable Donations, ask to have it sent you.

I don't know, I gave up.

It is up to everyone around me to organize me.

Two of my worst traits are procrastination and disorganization. However I have quit beating myself up over it. I am 45 years old and have managed to survive quit well as I am. My bills get paid, my house is relatively clean (note I said relatively) though often messy. I have seen much worse and I have seen much better. I am just not going to obsess about it. I hate doing that stuff more than I dislike the mess. My time is limited and I have more important and more fun things to do than organizing all my closets and drawers.

Now, can someone please tell me where the instruction book for my home internet service is........

Maybe  you need a subbie to be your secretary.  No excuses now.  Find someone who knows how to take care of things for you.

Call your Internet provider and ask for customer service.  They are supposed to provide you with technical support.

lol- last night- a piece of paneling fell that i tacked up for the appraisal- it still blocks the hall. i have not quite figured out which room i will use for what yet.

summer and winter can be 2 diffent ball games. for instance when it is 100 degrees, it is unlikely ill want to be on the 2nd floor.

a simple thing as to the amount of sunlight can be a factor.

my favorite room is on the 2nd flloor- sw corner.  views of river. unfortunatley this is the furthest room to the bath or kitchen. i have a big fricken house.  but that wasnt my intent- my intent was good feng shui. a southern exposure -off street parking- a QUIET block. this might sound mean- but some of the reasoning of planting 5 rose bushes is so kids dont hop my fence and come into my yard. i have no kids - so there is no reason to come into my yard.  rose bushes have thorns on them. but then consider- that no matter wht the landscape you cant go wrong with roses.

I will let you know if one drops out of the sky that will pass the vigorous, let them mess with my things, test.

You opened up the proverbial can of worms here by saying that, "...if one drops out of the sky..."  One never will.  If you cannot, or will not, organize your own life, then why not let someone else do it for you?  Advertise!  If I were in your area, I would help you NSA.  But then, I am not your type.  There must be some female secretary types who are unfulfilled, and would love to help you out.

You are taking my, tongue in cheek, comments far too seriously.

I am not looking for a submissive nor a slave at the present time. Which is why I said "if one drops out of the sky".

Not looking means, if someone happens to magically appear, I will be open to the idea.........BUT.....I do not feel that having someone is an essential ingredient in my life.
