So... we've had one thread on 'what Dominant women like to wear', one thread on 'what Dominant women like their boys to wear in order to accessorize what they are wearing', another thread on 'do any Dominant women like to dress in slippers and 'jammies' ' and finally a thread on 'what submissive men like to see a Dominant woman wear'.

Interesting that the entire focus has been on what the Dominant women are wearing. Guess it says something for the mindset of those involved - lol. I wonder where the thread on what submissive men like to wear is?

I've always imagined zentai to be dehumanizing (in a good way) but a very recent trend in my life made me see the Dom potential of it.  I realized humanizing the Dom makes the submissive slave to something inhuman.

I'd agree that men are generally hardwired to be more visual than women, although responses to the "Physical Attractiveness" thread might indicate that visual appeal is more important to Dommes on the whole (as a subset of women in general), than I'd realized.

So very true!  A power exchange is exactly that: an exchange; it's not a total abdication!  Reciprocity is something that can resonably be expected as part of the exchange and it is very much appreciated by the submissive!  I think it's something they should be able to expect in certain areas as negotiated and in others as part of the normal human exchange.

What women have you been hanging out with?  My observation has been that women tend to dress for other women in a competitive sort of way.  Yes, most men notice what women are wearing, but women dress to compete with other women.  Consequently I see women as being far more hung up on what people wear then men are.  I'll add that when in a relationship, I don't pay any attention to other women and usually SHE has to point them out to me.

It really depends on each individual woman.  I do have an affinity for leather, especially a leather dress or a leather skirt with a corset.  I also love high, leather, lace-up boots.  It is absolutely yummy to kneel at a woman's feet and lace her boots up *smiles*.  I should mention that I don't really care anything about high heels.  I think Doc Marten's look absolutely gorgeous on a woman.   

But like I said,  it really depends on the woman I am with.  Everyone is different, and everyone has clothing that does or does not flatter them.  I will say that I have never been a big fan of jeans on women.  I don't really know why, but I have just never been all that fond of jeans.  Business attire can be very attractive on a woman.  It's always a treat to take your lunch downtown and watch women coming and going from office buildings dressed in their best.  *grins*
