I was well aware of the fact that Tipper was part of the movement to put labels on music...So what? I personally think it is wrong to do so....Do you really want me to start posting related articles on conservatives that have attacked the arts...This is a battle you cannot win....take solace in the fact that Tipper was a part of all of this. Face reality - she FOUNDED the movement, and Al Gore was behind her all the way. Thing is, domiguy, Al Gore is a preacher man, Jimmuh Cattah is a preacher man, Billary Clintoon goes to church packing the biggest bibles they can possibly carry... as does John "War Crimes" Kerry That's why I have to laugh whenever the Right is mischaracheterized as being exclusively made up of religious zealots. Many Conservatives (South Park Conservatives like me) are bad boys who have never gone to church, and a whole lotta Libs are bible thumping FREAKS But you know what they say, first you label me...

The ACLU has done more to preserve, protect and expand our freedoms than almost any other institution in our society. The fact that most Republican's despise it is almost reason enough to support it since Republicans are the ones who are quickest to surrender rights (ala Patriot Act) or most willing to undermine the rights of others (torture, Geneva Convention, Patriot Act, etc.).

It's nice and PC to say that you should love all people even if you gently disagree with their behavior, but fuck that noise. But that's par for the course of a rightist.

Falwell is dead. I can't say I'm unhappy. All his supporters should be ecstatic as he has now gone to his final reward. Of course anyone who has actually read the bible must have a sneaking suspicion that if God, Heaven and Hell exist then Jerry is not in Heaven.
