Hi this is Ian from FetishWealth, and our flagship website is RickSavage.com. Rick is a bondage filmmaker with over 20 years and 600 films to his credit.

We thought it would be a good idea if Rick joined this forum as a guest "host" to answer questions about his career, films, techniques and practices, whatever. He is really excited about this opportunity to get in touch with the online BDSM community, I think everyone could have some fun with this.

If an administrator or mod reads this and also thinks it would be a good idea, please contact me.

Er - if erin says it's happening - I do not think it wise for others to click the link to check for you unless they are 100% sure they have a phishing filter in their firewall or anything else.

Well, we got all kinda people on here of different wavelengths of fame in the community.  Tell him to sign the fuck up and start a thread or dispense advice and we will work him over just like the rest of us.

Glad to have him aboard, if he comes.  Let the mountain come to Mohammed, nobody is gonna beg ol' Rick to show here.

Well, erin is a long time poster and reliable IMO - and if she says it is showing as a phishing site, I trust her.
 
The one thing I would say is that this is a BDSM site, but if you look through the threads, people ask questions, discuss events, but really don't attend here to interview others... especially people we may not have heard of.  That is what personal websites are for.  There are and have been a number of well known community members who contribute to the board, but not for self promotion but because they have a genuine interest in assisting people and promoting the BDSM in a positive light, seeing as kinksters are often portrayed in a negative light.
 
The promotion is more on the other side of CM where the profiles are found.  There is an 'ad' section on the forum also, where you can promote your site if you have something genuine to offer(Professional services and Sought or For Sale).  I hope this assists you.

I would just like to add that none of us (and we do have some long time and even "famous" lifestylers here) have needed an invite from a Mod to join the forums. We all come and share our knowledge and experiences. Mr. Savage would certainly be welcome to do the same and we would be glad to have his input, but I do not see that he needs any special invitations or considerations.

i think it's cool if Rick Savage wants to join CM and post, i've heard of him and seen something with him in a mag layout a long time ago.

BUT..if it's a phishing site that's no good...

The whole thing just reeks of the OP trying to get traffic to Rick's site, which in itself isn't a bad thing at all but if it's a pay site there are better avenues to take than this.

The other thing is that it reeks of total ego inflation, thinking that he would come here as a "guest host" rather than just a dude that happens to have a ton of experience in the lifestyle, like somehow he is better than all of the other Doms here because he has 600 movies to his credit.

Just be a real person for God's sake and come in on an even playing field, that shows more strength and character.

Mad Dog Vachon said that Pretty Boy Rick Flair used to deliver his newspaper and that is how he got into pro wrestling....maybe this is something akin to that.
