We have pretty similar taste in music.  Thank god.

But as far as sounds go...I cannot stand the sound of fabric rubbing together.  Sometimes he'll hold me down and rub his t-shirt just the right way to create the worst sound in the entire world.  It's like nails against a chalkboard to me.

I know what you mean about certain sounds. A fork against styrofoam sets my teeth on edge and makes me a very, very unhappy person.

As for songs... I'd probably have to come up with a very creative, deviant punishment for any submissive of mine that thought it amusing to sing that wretched theme song from the UM's show about that annoying sponge and his cohorts. Gawd I hate that nonsense.

I'd like to shove that pineapple where the sun don't... erm... ahem. Excuse me.

No, but i'm capable of tuning out much of that kind of thing. However, my (adult) children have been known to immediately want to change the music when they ride in my car, because they don't like my favorite music (Dave Matthews Band).

I got "The Name Game" stuck in my head for a whole day many years ago. I started driving my own self insane. "Old Time Rock & Roll" will just about send me over the edge. Long explanation.

Oh God, I'm suddenly back in the independend European car shop where the owner was this German guy who was SO hung up on trying to be as American as possible, he'd leave the country station on the radio all the time.  I'd end up laying awake at night, with such classics as "I ain't never had too much fun" or "There never weren't no such thing" stuck in my head.  In the end, it's why I left that place.  Honestly.  The elevator music at the BMW dealer beat the Hell out of country any day.  But, the story has a happy ending: I left the dealer for another independent BMW shop, and we rocked out to cool music all day. THE END

i've found that most ANY earworm can be spectacularly evicted by the Vision of Tim Curry in fishnets singing "Sweet Transvestite".

kitten, who laughs because she got to surprise Sir with knowing all of the words to one of HIS favorite songs, and being able to sing it well.

Update.  I was just flipping through the channels and passed PBS.  I would definitely have to safeword to anything sung by Barney the Dinosaur.

Anything by ABBA or Nancy Sinatra; most of Frank Sinatra, and that crap my brother listens to called "New Age Music".  Bad music is a form of torture -- just ask Noreagia.

I once got paddled in rhythm to the song "Mmbbbop" (or however you spell that stupid song) and wavered between finding it funny because it was soooo stupid and goofy and going crazy because its so stupid and goofy. I will say so though, as much as I HATE that song, it makes me think of that session every time it comes on lol

luckily i like most anything with a melody and a beat so its hard to torture me with music...however i did come up with a very sadistic plan at our last play party but no one would let me do it...i was just gonna hire the mariachi band that was playing at the wedding reception across the parking lot
