Status: offline 		In my family we grew up calling our "private parts" our "secret"....male, female same thing. My Grandmother always refered to them as  your  "secret"....... so when my own granddaughter was old enough she couldn't pronounce the word secret very well and would say...sweekit (tried to spell that phonetically)

Thats what I use with my son, however he DOES know the correct terms and he uses them; when he was 2yrs old, I had him on my hip and he said, for EVERYONE to hear, 'mommy, you are hurrting my penis and testicals with your hip.' I moved him off my hip and he said, 'thats better. Thank you.' The man behind me looked at me in the eyes and said, 'nice to know he knows the correct words.' The older lady in front of me looked like she might faint and the lady behind the man behind me, just smiled, and the cashier just snickered.

Now.. in my 'private' life its 'pussy' or 'cock' or 'clit' or 'ass.' Nothing outragious. I try to keep things simple.

God forbid adults act like adults and use the 'correct' terms, lol. Each to his/her own.

Being a nurse, I followed the advice of all the child care gurus and pediatricians, and taught my son the proper terminology for his genitals. Then, one day when he was three years old, the pre-school director called me in for a conference and asked me NOT to teach him any further terminology. Apparently, thanks to him, "testicles" had become the word of the day in his class, all of the kids found it hilariously funny, had chanted it all day long, and shared the joy with their parents when they were picked up. The parents, being less than appreciative, had complained to the director. *sighs* Is nothing in parenting ever simple?

Vaginas were cootchie and/or mooshie Actual German word for vagina supposedly.

Penis was hugger (I have no idea why) and/or winkie
