Out of the Oscar nominated movies from this year , which one is your favorite. It is a toss up for me between "The Last King of Scotland" and "Queen". Both were very well done in my opinion.

300, I like how they took a true story and made no attempt what so ever to make it look true.

"Flags of Our Fathers" was so powerfull no one in the theatre left or moved until AFTER the lights came on and the credits were completly over. Any others that have been out this year, nothing really stands out, I LOVED "Preminition," it may not be Oscar worthy, but it was a great movie. I'm waiting for the REAL blockbusters to come out in the next few months.

Peaceful Warrior. Saw it twice. Very powerful movie

It was such a powerfull movie, I cried, my guy friend that I was going to be sick. I feel asleep during 6th Sence, lol among abut a dozen other movies. I want o see Letters From Iuo Jima. I am a WWII buff though. The Fountain was an incredible movie.

Yes "300" was good..but if it were a movie that was based on History and followed it as well as a good movie by itself I would say "Amazing Grace". The account of one man who got England to outlaw slavery.

I also viewed Premonition. Went to see it just for the eye candy named Julian. Discovered that it has been the best movie that I've seen this year.

So far the 300, but it is way to early to have a favorite this year.
