has anyone here used chainmaille in thier dungeon apparel chains, toys, acessories or body jewelry? what types of chains and items would you like to see.

have anyone here ever used a chainmaille whip or flain for fetish play. rather than swinging it like a reguler flail you put it in the freezer and slide the frozen links acrost the subject.

using anadised aluminum rings for making a lightweight chainmaille bakini, belt or other draping apparel what shape and type of item would you want and what colors, cominations or designs would you like to see. colors are black brown red pink orange yellow gold green blue teal purple violet silver grey and bright. see pictures of my profile for samples of chain styles.

how thick or thin would you want a chain would you wear a 1/4th inch thick square chain for body jewelry if it was only a couple ounces in weight. would you want a chainmaille bakini that is only a couple pounds or use a steel bakini thats armor grade chainmaill that weighs 8 lbs. how transparent would you want it. opaque, seet hrough or extreamly sheer. would you want it lined or leave it as bare metal. fur trimed or lined in silk or satin.

i'm looking for people to send me sketches of shapes and styles they would like to see. how much would you be willing to pay for a bellychain, chains leading to nipplerings, belly button rings, clit piercing or other locations. look at the ring types and sizes, designs and such at theringlord.com or the yahoo groups chain_maille_ring or chain_maille_tutorials to get ideas

We have a bit of chainmaile. My daily collar is stainless 6:1 and has lasted 8 years so far.

Master aslo has a stainless chainmaile snakewhip that is lovely. He does a great mindfuck on bottoms with it involving himself and the chainmaile whip and a second secret top with a quirt.

My personal preference is stainless but titanium would be nice if I could ever afford it. I personally dislike nickle plate as it wears off and galvanized feels like I am wearing a old trashcan.

I collaborate with a person who makes wonderful braided leather floggers to make chainmaille and rubber (Foxtail) floggers. The falls are either Bright/Anodized Aluminum, or rubber rings, and she braides a leather handle for them. They're extremely popular, and beautiful to boot. The biggest downside to them is having to explain a million times at each show that 'No, you probably shouldn't hit somebody full force with one of these. No, they won't strip flesh off the bone, at least not if you're using common sense. Yes, this could hurt a lot...' ad nauseum. :P

There are already a handful of us maillers on this site, and if that is all you have to contribute to this community, you probably won't last very long. Especially, if you have to ask your market for new and innovative designs. Use the metal that will best work for the application, each customer is going to want a different thing. Especially is regards to opaqeuness. I've made bikinis from huge oriental weaves that leave everything hanging out to super sheer E8-1 in tiny rings so it looks like solid fabric. Your closures must be soldered or be perfect in most applications as well. And if you can't take the time to spellcheck your first entry onto a message board looking for customers, I'm going to be really hesitant to order your work. Besides the average person looking at TRL or other sites isn't going to know what metal or size ring is going to work for their specific desired use. Sorry to be so harsh but from a fellow mailler I expect better.
