In sessions this week, I had subs that were open to "marking". I discussed with them the enjoyment I get from My style of Domination, is a far cry from markings of the flesh, not at all pain orientated, just My complete control to indulge in their submission. To be fair, they were into the humiliation factor, yet were happy to leave My presence with markings if I chose to do so.

90% that I accept for session usually refrain from markings of any description, and this is totally fine by Me, as My style of Domination is not all about pain and marking of the flesh, but My control and indulgence in their servitude.

It made Me ponder the idea, do many subs feel a Mistress marks/marking is important to you?

To add, I can flog, crop, cane without leaving a single mark, a skill that I have utilised over time. Also, some subs are okay with disclosing that marks may be inflicted as long as they are not visable within a few days or so.

Do not get Me wrong on this, I do savour and enjoy pain sluts, and intense senario's just as much. Inflicting My hallmark, in a arty expressive way, with a selection of different tools, releasing My sadistic energy, to those that can absorb it [image]http://www.uk-mistresses.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif[/image].

So do you as subs/players/slave's enjoy your Mistress marking you? If so why?

Do you admire the markings, and enjoy absorbing strokes and thrashings?

i enjoy marks when Master leaves them on me. i'd go so far as to say if i've endured a lot of pain for Master and don't have the marks to look at later i'm a little bit disapointed. They are like badges of honor for me

My guess is most of the ones who don't want marks are married or committed to another. I love marks from Hubby, but before He was my Dom, when i went outside my marriage, i avoided them.  One time i had some bruises and had to hide my ass from Hubby for over a week.[:o]

Mistress left the most beautiful cutting on me.  A starburst pattern with Her signature D~ below it.  Soon the picture will be up on Her profile.  Positively beautiful.  I totally love having Mistress mark me.   It pleases Her so much, and I am in ecstasy seeing Her joy.  I wear the bruises from bite marks with pride.   When She marks me, in whatever way She chooses, and She draws blood,  we share a special kiss.  It is a passion of Hers that I readily and eagerly indulge in with Her.  I look forward to more blade and bite time, more scratches...more.  She is so skilled at what She does, I have no fear, and therefore, the boundaries of Her artistry are limitless.  Subs and slaves that might be afraid of this type of play.....fear not.  To express such trust in this type of play forms an even closer bond between the two.  Go for it.

I know many times I thought after a lot of pain that I would have bruising or something.  It really let me down when there wasn't anything there to show.  We are trying to come up with ways to mark me, because he knows I love it so much.  I have heard of aspirin and things like that, but I can't take it. 

I think there is just a satisfaction factor there for me.  I endure, I give pleasure, then I have this thing to show for it....I just adore that.

We love our symbols, I can't tell you all the munches I've been too where half the time was the giggly fem subs trailing eachother into the bathroom to show off their marks.

It's endurance, it shows you've 'done something cool' and it's a reminder of a good time.

I like marks too.  I mark easily and they last a long time. 

As for marking others, it's rarely a goal, but I have no problem with someone marking up when I hit them.

      I don't have a Mistress, I have a Master and I do enjoy it when he marks me.   Why because I love to look at his pretty markings all over.   I enjoying being able to take it as hard as he can give.

I *Love* my marks.... I have the most beautiful heart pattern just above my ass, Master put it on me with a scalple before I left Him last time...in time it will fade but for now when away from Him it makes me smile and glow when I catch sight of it.

i crave the marks Master leaves on me, i often beg for stripes as much for the pain as the marks they leave for days and on occasions a couple of weeks.

At times Master has left far more than just stripes from the cane on my body and they are still there weeks, months after the fact and in a way (W/we understand it) that gives me a sense of peace amongst other things.

I have only one mark that was left on me, and I nearly bled to death in the process.  The memory that it brings is not a fond one, but I've learned a valuable lesson from it, and am reminded of this every time I see it in the mirror.  It's not something most would notice, and I'm not disfigured in any way, but I see it.

The point being, seeing marks on one's body brings instant memories, and very strong ones at that.  If I were at work during the day, and noticed a mark someplace that was placed on me by my future Mistress, though, I know that it would immediately remind me of her; yet another reminder of my status.  For now, though, I can only dream. *smiles*

Same here... i love love love being marked... especially when the marks are still sore the next day. The reminder helps keep the mundane world at bay, and i also see it as something of a "badge", that i was able to endure for her.

Although i'll say not all marks are the same... cupping bruises are usually just embarassing, and i've gotten some really WEIRD marks from needle play. Like a 3" x 4" bulls-eye on my stomach... a week later you just look at it like "What the hell??" [&:]

I love being marked, which is a good thing since I mark very easily and they last a long time.  Whenever he can he marks my breasts and makes them look ever so pretty. 

The longest marks I have had are from the first time he used a knife on me.  Two years later there is still a very faint line on the back of both calves.  The other marks he made that night have long since faded but the ones on my calves are still there.

I will carry a permanent scar on the outside of my right thigh where he did a cutting of crossed swords.

I very much want my D to mark me in all manner of ways.  I want his stripes and flogger/whip marks, his bruises, and his piercings so badly... and I hope one day he might let me get a tatoo just for him.. <sighs happily>

i cherish my marks as Master enjoys them as well.  He always looks me over afterwards and oohs and ahhs at His canvas!!  and the next time i see Him He will go over and look to see if there are any left still!! normally there are as i mark easy and long.  we both love it.  i see Him usually about once or twice a week and in between those times it's the marks that give me pleasure during everyday times.. like having to change inthe bathroom at the gym to avoid stares.. LOL  or choosing shirts that aren't so plunging because of bruised or cut cleavage.  it makes life interesting and i in ways restrict how or where He marks me.  it just makes for fun stories of how to do everyday things a little.. differently.. hehe

my breast is purple right now..my ass cheek has welts ad i cant sit right..my inner theigh has 3 welts in a perfect row..my shoulder has red/purple marks and bruises adourn me everywhere.................i love it to death lol. i enjoy them.

I love being marked by my Queen, not because i'm looking for pain, but because it gives me the feeling of being 'owned' - something that i love for!

I do enjoy the process as a whole, where i'm first stripped, then made to relax and then before i know it, my eyes are shut for just a second now and then, and voila! My skin is transformed from a collection of cells to a valuable canvas. It could be Her teeth or nails or even the heel of Her shoes, depending on the situation or location.

The process only takes a couple of seconds, but the effect lasts on my mind for weeks, until the nest marking session!

It's not something I find necessary, but I'm always happy and proud to wear marks. I even take pictures so I can look back and remember'm. They're a badge of honor and sign of affection in my opinion, since somebody's gotta work at it. I don't really mark or bruise easily.
