I'd ask about your age/health before playing like that with you. The typical north american has a fair bit of plaque in their arteries by their mid-thirties. Pressing on the artery can cause a bit of it to dislodge, which would go to your brain and cause a stroke. This was told to me by a kinky doctor, who strongly recommended doing breath play by preventing breathing, as it is much much safer.
There are a lot of things worth dying for. This isn't one of them.

As someone who suffers nasty cycles of cluster headaches that trigger migraines that trigger cluster headaches and so on and so on, I have an aversion to anything that messes with blood supply to the brain.

Thanks for the clear identification of veins and the clear consequences but from what level of play Im sorry but yes I still need more answers.
I have had this done to me and at the point of pass out which was very obvious to me, the veins been released. And the rush or drop was over immediately
In this context it seems safe to play with what do yu think?

Kitte9 are you saying that you have grand mal seizures now as a result of this play as a child- I must ask how far the play went in those circumstances was it both veins being held, were you passing out before it was released I wonder.
I do need to unravel it a little more if possible

There is a risk of a blood clot forming. That could cause a stroke.
