ORIGINAL: BeautifulDoll I have an issue with swallowing, is this normal? It is not because of the way it tastes or anything like that it has to do with something that happened in my past. Sorry, but I had a little smile when I saw the "N"-word. In my experience, there's no such thing as "normal" in terms of sex :) But I'd like to assure you that when something bad happens, it is perfectly normal to not want to be reminded. If it's not a huge issue for you, and you are quite happy to live your life not swallowing and you are happy and content, then don't worry about it at all. But if it's something you would like to do but feel you can't, then it is possible to address it, and probably move on from whatever happened to you, so that it no longer affects you. Above all, be open and honest to your partner, if you have one. Don't feel ashamed or try to hide your feelings (and certainly don't try and force yourself to do something that you don't want to do). Talking can work wonders.. I should know.. I can chat for England when I have a pint in my hand, and all the world's problems would be solved if I could only remember what I said the morning after.
