i'm curious about the opinions of kinksters towards the range of paranormal stuff.

Personally i believe that if i am able to touch S/someone, or s'times just get near enough, i can "sense" T/their basic nature; good or bad. Friend or F/foe. However, this was a much stronger power when i was younger and in danger; i live a peaceful and secure life now and can not use my power so much. Maybe it eroded over time, or is only strong when i am in danger.

i have other powers to some degree. i can sense auras around P/pl and a generally know who is calling though i dun have caller id, but of course these powers are not easy to use over the 'net.

i follow my horoscope and love all sorts of psychic stuff, like palm reading, but i dun base any decisions on them. There's a palm reader down the street from me and i've been tempted to stop in just for fun.

A/anyone else have an opinion?

As a witch I would suggest that you be cautious when seeking a reading - there are those who are only out there to make a buck, but there are many of us who which to help people on their life path.

I do believe in much of the super-normal. I have been gifted with second sight since a child.
Once you open your mind to the possiblities of what else the mind can do - it is a long, wonderful, exciting, journey.

Blessed Be and Safe Travels

As a witch I can often detect a fart when released...Because whomever smelt it dealt it.

I lived in a haunted house, so I totally believe in the paranormal. I don't have the energy right now to write about it, but if you go back through my posts, you might find what I wrote about my house and the little man at the Chimney Rock, North Carolina.

I don't belive in the paranormal.
I do know that there are people gifted with some kind of second sight that allow them to "predict" the future but I don't think it should be clasified as paranormal. it's like they have a sixth sense that others don't have.

a blind person I may seem like I can predict the future because I can see things he can't see and act based on that visual information. I'm not predicting the future. I'm only sensing something he can't sense and using that knowledge. the same can be said about those that have a second sight that alows them to "see" what others can't.

but ghosts, real future predictions and similar things... no. I don't belive in them.

I have strong belief in the supernatural and despite SOME ppl there are  good number of those of us in the scene who do. I am a pagan and what a few relatives have called a jinx. When I was younger  I was good a tossing what ifs around, usually with the results being what i had just stated. i have heard the voice of the dead at certain periods of my life and depending on my mood I can pull certain things from people's mind without realizing it. My BF hates when i manage to say whats on his mind before he can.

I never said you were dumb Dom, but you do lack understanding. Anyone with a true gift and not just a bunch of BS spilling out of their mouth knows better than to abuse it. Its called Karma and  comis balance. You cheat with your gifts your gifts cheat you. And as for my home town still standing? There is more to do than just gamble. Yes gambling does alot for vegas but the city wouldn't just up and vanish if people stopped gambling.
my thing was don't post stupid shit just to do so, dom. If I thought you were dumb I would have said so and no where in my post did I say you were.
(end of my hijackign of the thread)

And I find that really hard to believe.
Paranormal simply means something unexplained by science or rather, the laws of science - something also that isn't tangible.  Believing in the paranormal isn't really an issue because the paranormal exists as a phenomena -

Peace

I believe in the paranormal. I know when deceased are near. I feel them, and sometimes see their reflections, but when I look to see the source of the reflection, no one is there.

When I was younger I could always tell you what number the dice rolled before I looked, and I could guess "heads or tales" 20 times in a row and never miss one.

I'm also a dreamer. Many times in my life I have dreamed conversations before they happened, and remembered them well enough to finish the other person's sentences while they were saying them. My dreams take DeJaVu to a new level.

My favorite astrology site is http://www.astrology-online.com/ . If you look down on the left column and click on "sign explinations" it is painfully accurate.
