Yea thats right I still have the newbie smell on me. Twenty-Two year old Male, new to the forums. Im in the so-cal area. I am currently working on becoming a Police officer. This then makes it a given that the cosmo's have a sense of humor. I am obessesed with learning to do "magic" but I mean who isn't it is the study of the attempt to control perception to your desired outcome. Anyway glad to be around, hope that it is a mutually enjoyable experinces. (Wow talking about myself so much... ...wait it's and introduction...)

Out of curiosity, what do you refer to as 'magic?'

Control over powers outside our realm of conciousness, like the magic in fairy tales?

Magic tricks?

Something else?

I put it in qoutes because I ment mentalism and parlor tricks for the most part. Mystism while facinating is not exactly my forte`. Please to meet you by the way.

Indeed, a pleasure.

In that case I can strongly recommend Sneaky Feats and More Sneaky Feats, by Tom Ferrell and Lee Eisenberg.  Most of the feats detailed in these books can't really be considered even parlor tricks, since theit workings are usually quite obvious once seen.  Tieing a silk hankerchief in a not with only one hand, for example (Try it sometime, not easy unless you have the trick).

Full of minor little tricks to show off with once or twice, then learn a new one before your audience gets tired of the same old thing.
