So my hubby bought me a book today, A) Becuase my best friend knits and I keep saying I will, but never do B) It has a latex cover! Anyone of you Ladie's knitters too? Read the book or intrested in the book? If your a knitter, and a Dom, I definatly recommend this book. Very clearly explains each knit, lovely writting theme of pleasure from pain concerning the long and rewarding act of knitting, and ontop of all that LOVELY knitting projects for the diserning Dom. I hope to expand further on this topic later when I start to knit well, and start on another book I've already got lined up for knitted lingerie, undergarments (including undies, stockings and garders) and many more items not under the "cliche" for a lovely Dom out there that might appreciate the feminine luxery of hand made clothes. Maybe even something to have your Subs/slaves learn for your own pleasure <3

My bst friend has this book, it's cool. I've looked through it. There's also one on kinky crochet.

Domiknitrix is the book's title. :) I stumbled upon it in Barnes and Noble when I was looking for patterns. (I recently took up knitting). I decided against it though, until I have the basics down.

I'm thinking lovely angora yarns.... As someone else replied. Yes the book title is Domiknitrix, I love the kinky theme of how she writes in the book. "I am the Domiknitrix, I discipline my yarn. I force it into the shape I want it to take. I am persistent, firm and commanding. I am the Domiknitrix." Yes only seems to have one properly kinky design. But the other book I mentioned with the lovely knit stockings and undergarments is much funner in terms of LOVELY things to knit and sexy to boot. And considering its all just a templet, choosing your own kinky colors can get it to bolster the fetish look with some addons. I'll post more about that book later when I go find the title again. I'll ask this, who thinks it would just be adorable to have thier slave boy or girl learn how to knit, and knit well to make lovely little things for them to wear?

Aweosme! Thanks, I haven't used my knitting needles to actually knit in ages. They have so many other lovely pokey, slappy, bindy uses. Yes, wouldn't it be lovely to sit and watch, smirking, as a sub knitted away with no idea until the end exactly what it is he was creating? Soft long lengths to bind him hogtied and helpless, or a flogger of the softest yarn that bites when wet, or scratchy yarn that itches against his wounds. Or a lovely blanket with which to wrap yourselves during aftercare when he's still shivering and shuddering. So many delicious ideas!

Gah! I just had the most wickedly horrid form of punishment pop into my head thanks to your post SD. A complete tight body suit made of the scratchiest wool I could find. Just thinking about it make ME itch!

It isn't difficult, it's not all that different from crochet, If you can count and keep count of your threads and know the different knots (that's essentially what they are) you can knit. I'm not saying it's easy to learn, it was more than frustrating to do so in the beginning. It also helps to have a bit of a math based mind. Yes, I do love the idea of making him knit his own instruments of torture. And the knitting needles have lovely other uses as well when not being used for knitting! Two together with some rubberbands make a lovely little humbler! But then perhaps that belongs on the household objects used in BDSM thread.
