Status: offline 		sometimes the illusion of who we think someone is has nothing to do with actual compatibility.  It takes two people to create a relationship and it sounds like she isn't interested.

Perhaps this was a learning lesson for you so that when you do finally meet the right one you will be able to recognize her... obviously she isn't the one or the feelings would be mutual.

From my vantage point, regret is self-indulgent and s'what self-destructive.  Learn what there is to learn and then close the door on the experience, would be my advice.
