Long ago I adopted a rationalization that if knowing how to spell were important, god wouldn't have invented "spell check". With that as a guiding principle, and the fact that it has been many years since being under the influence of nuns who would make me write every misspelled word 100 times, my spelling "skills" are non-existent. Besides spelling in the English language requires suspension of logic, discipline, and consistency, key traits for Dom. It could be argued that "good spelling" is "anti Dom-like".

However striving for perfection IS a desirable Dom trait. To address that dichotomy, I used to first type any post into a WP program or mail program to check spelling. Until I found this site:

http://iespell.com/download.php

Personal usage is free. I have been using it for at least 6 months and have had no trouble with Spy or Ad-ware. Once installed you can spell check EVERYTHING you type on the computer by accessing a menu that comes up with a simple right click on the mouse.

Now if they can just add a grammar check to verify proper usage of words like; where/ we're, or their/there, or dominate/dominant; maybe we can just post the link to future threads at the first before any spelling flame wars.
