I had the same experience end of last year whenI bought new terracotta and yellow coloured curtains for my bedroom door where before was a disgusting old white and lilac curtain....it spiced up my room a lot [:)]

just hope I will find use for them again when I move again this year [8|] as I don't really plan to chose my next accomodation based on such a door again, just to be able to use them again [8|]

everyone joining up and going to burning man? or making a mini-burning man out here?

The guy I'm thinking of is probably the same one that posted in your group.  I guess there's a smaller Burning Man-style festival for the Midwest region and he's looking for people to be in his camp.  It's not my thing, so I can only speculate.

The idea I originally thought of was for those interested to make their way to BM, either singly or in groups, (I wanted to bring a RV for air conditioning during the day) and everyone bring some materials for the camp building/facade and have some DM's for when folks are playing. and for demos. 

But unfortunately, it never caught on.  Would there be enough interest for CM to create their own event, like the late Kink in the Caribbean events, where we pretty much take over a resort?

Your best bet would probably be to find kinky people who are already planning to go and hook up with them.  There are tons of kinky/kink-friendly events like DomCon or Folsom Street Fair that people attend.  It would be much easier to find CMers who are already going and make plans to get together during the event.

i know what you mean. ^_^ i actually really enjoy doing laundry. a bed with fresh, clean linens on it is pretty glorious
