For all you greedy little contestants who want instant gratification: I am reposting the prize rules, found in Post # 37

quote:

ORIGINAL: maybemaybenot

The prize commitee will be making an announcement about prizes and prize distrubution at a later date.
Meanwhile, if all potential winners would kindly send me their full names, addresses, all bank account numbers, name of next of kin/beneficiary and social security numbers, I will forward them to the commitee.

             mbmbn

So far, I have recieved zilch, zero, nunca from all you prize grubbing contestants.
How in the world do you expect to recieve your prize without a little info on your part.
Hey, I understand, youmay think because I started the thread and am on the commitee I will not forward your info.
Fine, no problem.
Post it right here on the board and the commitee will see it and jot everything down for prize distribution purposes only.

All this whining about "do i get my prize, can I have it, what is the prize" Sheeesh, try following along and doing your part to get the damn prize.

                                 mbmbn

the type of information you are requiring is not something anyone would want to give a total stranger, and (i'm not sure) it might go against the Rules of the forums. this seems like trolling or spam to me

how long can this go on?

I know a similar existing posting board ... for a totally differt topic mind you ... that has as many as 108 or more pages in a single topic.  Seems we're no where near there yet.

Some people think post counts also matter.. so he with the most posts wins arguments.  I prefer content over quantity

Contemplating what the cryptic meaning might be of "last one to post, wins"

I mean, it must be something clever right?

It cant be that its as daft as it seems?

E

LOL LadyE. On another MB I post on this thread is up to page 460. It's a  thread hijackers wet dream, when played that way.
I keep giving the bait, but no one's biting < shrugs>
Winning isn't even in the equation, more stream of silliness or asholeness. Which ever works.

I’d like to point out how much bacteria is on the average keyboard at this jucture. I don’t have this information to hand but considering the high likeliness of combined nose picking and key pressing it must be at least 100000000000000000000 to the power of 12.

OK I got it - I win. Not only 'cause I got the answer, but because its about me (as all threads inevitably are), and tells me in its solution that I won - so it has to be right

"last one" = once
"to post" = mail
"wins" = triumphs

I suppose it could be, never thought of it that way. It was and is for entertainment purposes only. No one should respond. I guess I just didn't think I had to add a disclaimer. I thought my sarcasm was loud and clear.Sorry for your confusion.

Factor in the sneezing and the cat who just gotout of the litter box hoping up on your desk and the one handed wankers who don't have a box of kleenex handy and you can multiply that by  about 456 thousand.
But given that bacteria re produces at varying rates, depending on the strain and it prolificy, we may very well have a silent epidemic on our hands. The actual bacteria count will never be one number, due to the rate of replication.

Ohh, I am sure many do and feel a false sense of safety. bacteria moves and spreads everywhere, particularly dark warm, moist places. While the keyboard may not be moist it has the other two requirements. The wipes will eliminate many bacteria from the top of the keys, but what about all the nooks and crannies.
Don't get me wrong,  but sannie wipes will only eliminate the top layer of the keys and as you are wiping the underlying bacteria will be growing back up to the top and multiplying. You would have to sit and wipe your keys for the rest of your life. Even then you couldn't stop it.
Many, many strains of bacteria are resisitant to commercial antibacterial agents.
So, I think the only answer is to submerge your keyboard in 1:10 bleach solution and then boil it for 20-30 minutes. Even then a few may survive, but you should be fairly safe.
