Years and years ago I was loaned a dildo, it's the hard plastic kind with hollow insides for batteries. Well he never came to take it back so years later it's still mine* grins* well this morning I took the batterie out since the vibe part doesn't work any more and the battery is only in there to add weight, to play quietly since mate was sleeping, I got the idea that you could put a bag inside fill it full of water, making sure it didn't leak and freeze it and you'd have an ice dildo, conveiently housed in a hard plastic shell!

I wonder how well it would work* grins*

Why not wake up the partner and try it out? :)

The only real thing to be careful of with ice is burning the tissue just as in frostbite.

Well since it'd be in the plastic case you wouldn't be exposed to the direct cold, unles the case itself was frozen.

I didn't wake him up this morning cause I intended to go back to sleep myself and he's not exactly sex minded first things in morning* grins*

Any tips on the how of it? sugestions, ideas? I know I could use a ziplock baggie make sure it don't leak an pop it in there. but how do you get it to freeze to form.

No idea how to make your dildo waterproof unless you put it in some tool dip. Then again, that makes things a bit softer and nice looking. Not sure if it is waterproof let alone allowing it to penetrate any mucos membranes.

However, on the topic at hand. We have several sex shops around us. The ones that are a wee bit more upscale than the one's of yesteryear. I've purchased a full size penis ice mold for about 3 dollars there.
It is a soft plastic so when frozen the mold just peels right off.
Dirt cheap to.

Of course, there's the frost bite issues...but...

You could just as easily get a Mr. Peter Ice Mold. This one can be used to make interesting "ice cubes" for punch. Or, more interesting, popsicles. I have a few in the freezer.

See I don't want to be in direct contact with the ice, That's the whole point of the plastic casing. I double bagged two ziplocks,I thought of a condom too but I was to late for that. next time I'll have to try a condom.

A condom would make a great liner. However, remember that water expands when it freezes. That type of plastic could become brittle when frozen too. I suggest that you fill it only one third of the way first, and wait 'til that freezes solid before adding another third, and so on. This way it is less likely to fracture the dildo during the freezing cycle.
Good luck

although not an scientist, I got to go with Kite on this one. any partically filled flexible object frozen expands to a point. The 1/3 idea might just work without causing the shape to distort. The part that got Me was when you said, "Hubby's not into sex the first thing in the morning," or words to that affect. (I should have quoted you I know I know...lol) Damn My wife runs the first thing in the morning knowing what time it is, even after such times as W/w've had a length session the previous night. Hell, at 52, I'm grateful everymorning I wake up...and thank God, still horney and able to perform....smiles

AYYYYYYYYYYYYE that's cold lol. I just pulled it out of the freezer pulled the bag out and warmed the plastic gently with cool water so the outside wasn't icey.

You can use slightly less than hot water too.
For quick use, just pour in crushed ice. Wait 5 minutes, and then it will be cold.

Safety/ science fact: Being in direct contact with ice has nothing to do with frostbite. A thin layer of plastic/ rubber, etc. will not prevent frostbite.

Does anyone know how long you'd have to be in contact with ice to actually get frostbite?
