This1s4you -> New but NOT so new (5/23/2007 10:43:11 AM)

OK, so here we are, new to collarme, but far from new to the "scene" (whatever that is) We are an older couple who right now don't live together and have a literal lifetime of experience(s). From what we have seen this place is filled with persons who write and post without the desire and/or expectation to ever meet. I guess they are just trying to wank off?

So let us assure you that we are far from that, with lots of real life experiences, lots of equipment and two locations, well we certainly can satisfy almost any desire. Our profile is not complete, but we thought it might be nice to post here to let one and all know that there are two VERY REAL folks here now. Of course we realize that our experiences are probably not unique. What sorts of things have we found in the past:
  • persons who don't reply
  • persons who are certainly NOT what they say they are
  • people who just want to have fantasies at home
  • curious persons
  • persons who say they have this or that experience and have none or little
  • people who check will relocate when they have no desire and/or ability to do so.
  • people who are just looking for hot photos, etc.

So how are we any different? We seek real, we are real and if you are then the sky is the limit

I remember my Mentor telling me that 90% of the Doms i meet online will not really be Doms.  He was off in his estimate a bit....it's much closer to 95+%.   The internet is a whanker's Paradise.  It's also good for those who have some curiosity but aren't sure they want to get involved with D/s or M/s or BDSM.  It gives these curious people a way to discover if this is right for them.

However, this is the internet.  What did you expect?  If you want real then you need to search in those places where real people are.  Go to munches.  Go to lifestyle events such as the Southwest Leather Conference in Phoenix in January if you live in southern NV.  If you're closer to northern NV then there is Leatherwoods, a weekend event in central Oregon in Aug.   I'm sure there are other events that might be closer to you that i don't know about at this time.

Some people find the perfect match on the internet.  It does happen although perhaps you should allow more than a couple days to find that match.  I would guess that most do not find their match on the internet, but do find a match through friends and other lifestylers.
