Hello it was suggested to me, by one of my "fans" here, that I
should be the Queen of the Ask A Mistress section.
LOL
I went ahead and took the damn crown!
Now, I wanna know does anyone here want the crown?
I am feeling a bit sick, so if I should fall or die, I need someone to
pick up and carry the flag/crown for me.
I nominate Mistress Dolly, The Guiding Lite, or pixelslave to run
the AskAMistress section if I die here at the keyboard.
Any other nominees?

Yes.

I think there would be a mutiny on day one though and/or I would be taken out by 'friendly' fire. 

On second thought, probably not a good idea.

 If we're establishing ourselves as a Queendom, does that mean we can start minting currency? Because I'm going to London soon, and converting from dollars to pounds sucks.

Just divide by two - it'll be close enough. Mind you, the way things are going, it might be worth revising the 3x table for the same purpose.

Bear in mind there is 17.5% Value added tax on almost everything here, and that international marketing calls us "treasure island" because they know they can charge higher for most stuff as we're small and isolated. You cant nip over a border that easily, for a cheaper deal.

And London is about the most expensive place in England. You can stay half a week in a hotel in central Paris, for the cost of one night in London. A pint of beer would be over USD 5-00 in the UK and closer to 6-00 or even 7-00 in London.

Oh, it's not that I can't do the conversion...It's just a huge hit on the ol' wallet.

And London is, unfortunately, where most of my friends in the UK live.

Despite it's expense, still one of my favorite places in the world to visit (referring to both London and the UK in general).
