21 minutes for 1 and 33 minutes for the other. How did I know?

Some people are sooooo easy to control by just a few words.

*throws dark a paddle so she can start-back paddling without anyone noticing*

LOL

nonono... you can't hit a drum with a paddle... so no use I am afraid.

BTW - You don't have to wait around on the site for me to reply - It will still be here when you go and come back later[;)]

*stops your stopwatch - helpfully*

Peace and Love

I guess it's as easy to "control" as it is to feel pleased with one's self because we're in the same time zone and thus likely to be posting at around the same time?

Pardon me for having a longer time in between responses- the boyfriend took me out to lunch. Next time I need to let him know my control is now with someone on a discussion board and we can't go out.

If you equate "control" to "getting a response" then no wonder so many doms feel they need to keep emailing a chick even after she says "no thanks, not interested."

Finis. Slavery is slavery and submission is submission... any which way you look at it. Perhaps words can have any meaning in the local asylum? But you can be whomever you wish to be in those places.

That's now the second time that you've tried to end this thread by repeating your opinion. Don't you see the irony? You're trying to end this thread on your terms, and people aren't cooperating; and you're trying to legislate the definitions of "sub" and "slave"--and people aren't cooperating.

Lam

P.S. It's "you can be WHOEVER you wish," not "WHOMEVER you wish." There's some irony there, too.

LOL, well, it appeared to finally be ended, anyway. I haven't legislated the definitions, the definitions have been there all along. LOL

thanks for your input, and I appreciate the dry humor.

X,

you bring up a ongoing and troubling consideration that causes many relationships to start off poorly.
Having read many short storing here about what was called abuse by submissives new to the lifestyle can be traced, I believe, to their own misuse of the terms "slave"
To some unknowing subsmissive that may appear to be a chance to portray an image of "experience" which a "D" may initially rely on / then the trouble starts.
This paradox has been going on for a long time, and I personally do not it coming to a solution any time soon.

do you feel that the terms 'slave' and 'sub' are randomly interchangeable

NO. I am submissive, not a slave. In fact, I think of myself more as "subordinate" than "submissive." I am not property, nor do I consider myself subject to any and every whim of a Dom. I think of myself as an equal who happens to be the subordinate power in a relationship. Think of a good boss and a good employee who handles everything well, probably is in charge of several projects, but still has to report to the boss and ultimately do what the boss sees as right for the business. I'm the employee. My Dom, ideally, is the good boss. A good boss wouldn't see it as his role to constantly beat me, put me in suspension, make me fetch him food and water while crawling around naked, and I expect similar respect from a Dom. If he's a kind and self-assured leader, he won't even have to ask me to bring his coffee or help him with his paperwork; I'll find myself helping naturally, no matter how busy I am or what else I'd rather be doing, just because he inspires me that way.
