Ginger loves to lick you, your face* in fact she gets very dominant about wishing to lick your face, her eyes get all big and round, she keeps getting closer and closer and will step on you to reach your face, and then it's an all out kiss attack.* Which I think is funny too. I do not mind. your boobs your back your hands your feet, all good. She just acts like a starved dog when it comes to wanting to taste your skin.  I am naked, as usual i sit down to talk to her and she zeroe's in on the deepset part where the two breasts create a space and immidatly have her self a grand old time tasting my skin. She activily insists on trying to lick belly buttons too, but I activly refuse her,  It's just to me the funniest thing.

Also she is attacking her toes, she will lick the hind foot a bunch of times then actually stick part of the front of the foot into her mouth and gnaw it a bit. I think she might be under the impression she's grooming and maintaining her feet.

On licking the skin: dogs like the salt left over from your sweat .  If you have big boobs then they may have a bit more perspiration in between..
Also, she loves you!

On biting and chewing the  feet: When they go at their toes and feet like that, it is very often some sort of reaction (allergic or otherwise) rather than grooming.. Shampoo; something from the grass; a flea or ant bite, etc...
I could be mistaken but I believe the source could be anywhere on the body and it manifests itself in the paws?  (I will check up on that though and get back to you).

BSB, I thought that she might be trying to taste my salt, if I have been hot with in recent times of the skin kissing she is even more happy to sit and groom me.  Her daddy , says she thinks she is being helpful and cleaning you up, she is a very friendly and helpful sort* hehe*

I asked her Daddy if her toe thingie is normal, * I heard back from him, yeah it's normal*because he's had more experince with her than me, I did think it might be a reaction, because we had her groomed and shaved yesterday at Petsmart.

Is she biting her feet constantly (more than once or twice an hour) or once in a while (once or twice a day)?

BBS, she does it constantly tonightfor periods of time. I can't say really how often, because I don't see her all the time. Tonight she did it for like 20 mins stoped for a few then was like yeah, back to the toes for another 5-10 mins.

James says she is trying to reach the webbing of her toes, probably because they itch, and she does this regularly* or did when he lived with her* and this is just something she does.

James is right, her toes DO itch.  Whenever this happens to my dog(s), I take them to the vet.  It's tortuous (not in a good way) for them.    If the constant licking continues, some bad, kind of gross stuff may potentially be up the road without some relief from the itching, whatever the cause.

I agree, there is something much worse coming down the road.  I had a Cocker Spaniel who was constantly licking, even to the point of licking raw spots that bled horrably.  It turned out that he had a severe fungus infection and it had settled in his gastric tract.  I had to have him on several medicine just to rid him of the internal and external fungus that dogs get from time to time.  Yes, it was expensive.  Yes, I felt he was worth it.  And yes, I would do it again.  He was probably the best friend I think I've ever had.  He died of conjestive heart failure on 2-15-06 at the age of 12.

And what if I take her to the vet, they say there's positivly nothing wrong, but she still continues to lick and bite her toes? I suppose I'd jst be left to assume it's normal harmless behavior?

The dogs toes do sound like they're irritated.  You may also wnat to check for things like ingrown or broken claws.

My sisters dog has a toe fetish with the licking.  She won't stop until you have your feet completely covered.  Even if you try to move she just goes wth them.  She also uses her hind foot as a Q-tip.....she licks her foot for a while and then sticks it in her ear and scrubs at it.  This is why I have a cat....they're not strange at all.  ...yeah that part is total BS. Cats are freaks.

It isn't normal and it's not harmless if it is non stop. Heaven forbid you don't take her to the vet and she gets a horrible infection.

My aunts dog adores biting her toenails, because she is grooming them lol. yes, she will actually sit down and go to work on her toenails till she is satisfied. My uncle used to wonder what all the little black things in the carpet were, untill he figured out Candy was chewing her toenails lol.
