It's rather amazing, I think, when I look back over my life and see so many seemingly random events that all point in one direction.
I am a submissive. That is who I am. Denying it and wishing it weren't so hasn't been all that productive, so I am here in search of information that might better help me explore and integrate this aspect of my personality. I thought I'd be a lurker forever, just absorb what I needed silently, but found that I laughed out loud at silly posts, or found myself really pondering over others and wanted to let the poster know. Besides, interactive learning is far more enjoyable, I think. So far I've barely scratched the surface, and am already overwhelmed. I also have to say that I'm rather impressed--I've participated in other message boards where flaming was the norm, rather than the exception.
I've retyped this (upcoming) paragraph, trying to weigh my words, but perhaps blunt is the best. I'm not here to find love, find sex, or find spankings. Despite those three exceptions, I may just prove an interesting person to know.
But then again your mileage may vary :)
