Status: offline 		If you watch the House and Senate channels, have you noticed the way the tie colors change during a course of a debate?

When I first noticed this~  Republicans wore Red ties and the Dems wore blue.
The last few days I've noticed that  yellow ties are the UOD (uniform of the day). 

This morning I saw a Republican wearing one that is Blue and Yellow striped and a Dem wearing a Green and yellow striped.

Do you think the tie colors are a non-verbal way of  showing how they stand on an issue?

Now that I'm older, I thought it was great that it seems I have more patience. Turns out, that I just don't give a sh*t.

Status: offline 		I noticed that as well.  It's silly imo.  But then so is the administration's juvenile attempt to disparage the Democratic Party by calling it the "Democrat Party."

Yup, and  juvenile terms like "flip-flopper", what will they use next~"Poopy-butts"? :)

I'm watching the whole thing unfold on the  Senate and house  channels, just masochistic that way I guess.  Ted Kennedy is the only one wearing a Weinmeranner Gray tie today.  More Dems are wearing Red and  Republicans are doing a combo of red and blue today :)

Status: offline 		Well they screwed up a few days ago--I was watching Chris Matthews and he had a Republican, a Democrat, and a journalist on the panel.  They were all wearing crimson ties, so someone must have screwed up somewhere!

Yah, too bad nobody ever said that.

I'm talking about high level Republican Party leaders, such as Bush, using this term.  Find me a single instance in which a senior Democratic Party leader used one of the terms you mentioned.

Just give me one example.
