essexfemmegirl -> Size XS latex clothing (5/24/2007 7:34:21 PM)

I've seen several threads about plus size clothing on here, but at the opposite end of the scale, I cannot find affordable latex clothing in small sizes (US 2/UK 6), only pricey stuff when you're spending on made to measure. The made to measure is on my shopping list, but in the meantime, cheaper stuff that isn't going to flap about loosely, not really fitting the bill when it comes to tightness, would be great. Does anyone know any stockists? :)

Thanks in advance!

You've not told us where you are or where you've been looking.....

House of Whacks is located in Nevada (used to be Chicago.)  There was a point in time when they were new where I formerly managed a store that stocked quite a bit of her garments and we had trouble even putting some of our small models in her stuff -- it was that tiny!  http://www.houseofwhacks.com/Html/sizing.html

House of Harlot (http://www.houseofharlot.com/web2007/home07.html) has a great selection in very small sizes, however, you run the risk of paying customs charges bringing luxury items into the country AND they are considerably marked up if you buy from a US retailer.  (Skin Two starts at small.)

Syren in LA was recently bought out by Joel Tucker and Stockroom.com -- this is their size chart (they appear to carry XS) -- http://www.syren.com/sizecharts.php

Pricy options would include Delica in the UK (http://www.delicia.co.uk/index.php?req=Home) who has XS in their line or Michael Manning (of So Hip It Hurts -- http://www.thespidergarden.net/spiderphoto.php3) who has designed latex for the Skin Two Rubber Ball, Midori, etc.

Also try Madame S, they tend to carry a large variety of sizes including S and XS.

Stormy Leather was recently purchased by JT's Stockroom but they might still have some old stock of latex in S and XS sizes.

www.demask.com They are a little pricey but have great latex and start at size 1.

Syren is a good source for stuff. Though now with their new line of clothes and ownership their prices went up some. I thought house of whacks went out of business though?

Well, where I've been looking and found no success would be a very long list indeed, since I've mainly established that latex companies don't do clothes small enough for me unless I pay an extra fee (for less latex...) on top of the standard garment cost! I appreciate it's a 'special order' and that every garment takes time and work, but it seems most premium items are made to order in the first place, rather than waiting on a rack in every colour and every size.

Syren have some nice stuff, but a strange interpretation of what XS means!! Their XS (34-36 bust...) is bigger than a lot of companies' smallest size, lol.

I'm just looking at the links & Madame S especially has some cute stuff. Thanks for all the links! Not as affordable as I'd hoped, but certainly great for the long-term shopping list! I noticed someone is listing UK size 6-8 (US size 2-4) latex skirts on UK ebay, but they seem to be Sharon Sloane ones to me - more inventive ideas about sizing I think... :)

essexfemmegirl -> RE: Size XS latex clothing (5/26/2007 9:08:46 PM)

I should probably point out by the way, that the dress I'm wearing in my photo was altered with rubber glue to fit me, thanks to excellent advice from people of the Skin Two forum, otherwise my original query simply doesn't make sense! The results aren't ideal however, and I would still appreciate any pointers on affordable small latex garments (location isn't too important if it's low-cost anyway...that's the beauty of the net! [:)] ).

LdyScarletDomina -> RE: Size XS latex clothing (5/26/2007 9:13:03 PM)

OP:  Have you tried liquid latex as opposed to latex clothing.  A good, thick black applied with a brand new brush can give the same look and feel of wearable latex but less worry about size and expense.  My owner is a photographer and we used this a few times when his models were too tiny for our available wardrobe apparel.  It would look really good on a figure like yours!

Thanks Lady Scarlet! Maybe I should! It would strike me as an expensive option, but I'll trust you on that point - I think I've not really looked at Liquid Latex since the late 90's and I suppose what seemed expensive to me then might not now (although I would love to say my earnings were drastically different now, lol...). And thanks for the usage tips [:)] Like your avatar btw! :)

essex,

I wish you the best of luck. If I happen upon the right site I'll be sure to post a link here.

Andy and Karen can make you something made-to-measure at a reasonable price: www.rubber55.co.uk

Looking forward to London in June to do some shopping myself!

Best regards

Not sure if this will help. I am useless at guessing sizes. I have bought from this shop and know it is of reasonable quality.  http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/100-Gummi-Anzug-Latex-Rubber-body-Ganzanzug-catsuit_W0QQitemZ190113417213QQihZ009QQcategoryZ12127QQcmdZViewItem

Forgot to mention. I am just starting out making glued latex gear. All I need is a pattern to make it from from. I have no dresmaking experience but have worked with leather and rubber before. Any suggestions as to where to get patterns from???????
Maybe I could make a pattern using You as a manequin????

essexfemmegirl -> RE: Size XS latex clothing (5/28/2007 4:40:54 PM)

Ooh, you'll have to keep us posted on your progress! There's a book on making latex clothing on Amazon, I think it has a pattern in the back, just for a basic skirt or vest though. I haven't read marvellous reviews for it! Thanks for the link :)

And rubberallover - that site is fantastic for sizes, they go down really small as standard! Nothing on the site is really what I'm after, design-wise, but it's defintely a great link to have on here for any other small size girls who visit the thread :) Thanks :)

Try polymorphe for xs latex clothing. As for the 34 inch bust...you should be measuring around the fullest part of your bust, that measurement usually runs about 34 inches, ribs and breast do take up some room! As for cup size ,I know they do an A cup for those girls with smaller proportions. Hope this helps!

Ms Feral

essexfemmegirl -> RE: Size XS latex clothing (5/29/2007 7:39:37 PM)

Lol, yeah, I know all of me takes up *some* room - but not 34 inches [;)] Thanks for the Polymorphe suggestion!

essexfemmegirl -> RE: Size XS latex clothing (6/16/2007 3:35:25 PM)

I went to a rubber store over the weekend and their size XS would still need to be taken in for me, but they were so fantastic and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Any other girls on the smaller side, looking for rubber wear, I think the definite tip if you are able to, is to go into a store and try things on [:)] I also tried Skin Two size S and it was way too big, yet the Honour size S was almost right (in some styles) so I suppose it's the same as any other clothing store - the sizes vary a lot from shop to shop and you might fit one place's size S and not another.

Sirenical -> RE: Size XS latex clothing (6/17/2007 4:42:18 PM)

I would recommend try http://www.sub-shop.com

essexfemmegirl -> RE: Size XS latex clothing (6/22/2007 4:45:24 PM)

Thanks Sirenical :) I'd say that's a great site for anyone looking for economical latex wear actually! :) The sizes aren't spot on for me, but I certainly know where to go if I want a cheap bubblegum pink latex skirt now, lol :)

Sirenical -> RE: Size XS latex clothing (6/23/2007 10:35:55 AM)

They also have stuff that they will make custom, not sure on what items!
