I must do this for my own (apparent) sanity. It has been a rough couple months, and at this point, to express something positive is on my agenda. For my own sanity. I have been very negative lately, and to apologize is worthless. To atone one must strive for a different goal. I wish there was a different way to express my point on some of these negative things, and I bet I'm not the only one. Some positive things happen. There have been great works of art, technological advances, I mean they can now induce the human body to grow a new finger using tissue from a pig's bladder. Racism is fading, at least the old kind. People are becoming more accepting toward people who are different than them. Not all but some. Our cars burn the fuel alot more cleanly and efficiently. Forget gas prices, this would be a good thing all along, even if gas was a dime a gallon. While I don't support universal DNA files, DNA testing can't be bad. It has caught some criminals, and has also set some innocent people free.As long as they keep it to testing suspects and the like, I don't see a problem. And as much as I don't like the whole scenario, this DNA testing sometimes results in a kid finding their Father. And sometimes that makes a little difference in the world for good. Another good thing is that I think radicals can now see that random acts of violence are counterproductive, at least some by now. And last but by far not the least, that we can get that radical on this forum ( well maybe it's just me) and I have never been insulted in any serious manner. I did it once. They don't like that. At first I was not familiar, nor even supportive of such strict rules, but I have learned better. Those rules make one think out their response to something they may disagree with. That is conducive to true communication. So CM is one of the good things in the world today. And so is the internet in general. Even with all the negativity, the information you can get overshadows anyhting in the past. You can get BBC anytime, and they are alot more fair and balanced than ANY US media outlet. This is a good thing. We can also get it from anywhere in the world if we can read it. Not so in China. I bet some people have found ways to get to places that are supposed to be blocked. One copy of Win95OSR2 would do it. Manually setup up the internet access. You think they can't do it ? I am sure they have. I would, it would be my top priority. You see at the core of my being is that I don't want anything they want me to have, and I want EVERYTHING they don't want me to have. But I don't need nukes or anything like that. I truly believe that the powers that be in every field are misdirected and usually wrong. I have lived that way for ten years now, and the fact that there has been no incident is perfect evidence of my control of my own personal insanity. One DUI in a place where everybody gets one. Had been out of trouble for 11 years back in 2004, so they took it easy on me. And I have no real enemies. I have friends who would kill or die for me, and I would do the same. But we would not ask. And most have no real enemies either. I am thankful, I know not to whom, for the good things in my life. And I still value pride. You know I was homeless a long time ago, and I refused to beg. I simply would not do it. I would starve first. If I ever begged my Grandfather would've turned over in this grave. There is plenty bad to talk about, and we'll get back to that of course. But sometimes we need a fucking vacation from that. Be well, and I really mean that. T
