Unfortunately, Ms. O'Donnell has gone so far over the top that The most liberal of My associates are condemning her. Perhaps she would be better served by posting her insanity on her website where we can choose to not read, rather than in public....perfect fodder for Youtube.

Bet#1 If a Rosie supporter posts here, the supporter will be more intelligent than the defendant.

Status: offline 		I don't watch "The View" but when I heard about the 'meltdown' I caught the clip on AOL news.  The comment was stupid to make in the first place.  There is a huge difference between saying you don't support the war and x number of Iraqi's are dead, so who's the terrorist.

Status: offline 		Yeah......since when do "fat" "lesbian" "bitch"es have any right to speak their mind?  i think they should tar and feather her, do a lobotomy, and staple her lips shut for DARING to express her opinions.  i for one am so relieved that Bill O'Reilly is making it a personal crusade to keep her "rude" ass from having another public forum.  i mean, with ole Bill as the moral guardian of how to appropriately treat those with whom you disagree, how can we go wrong?   i think she should have sat there, kept her big mouth shut, and let that intellectual giant Elizabeth spout the party line while just nodding and displaying a vacant smile like so much of the rest of the country.  How dare her say something others disagree with.  With an administration full of traitorous behavior running this country, i find it hilarious that Rosie is seen as the biggest traitor in the country.  Oh well, as long as we focus on her fat, dykey, obnoxious self, we can forget the real threats to our country......slave luci

Status: offline 		I read an article on her leaving "The View" early after she and another Co-Host  Elizabeth got into it again (I understand this is not the first time).  Also in the in article it was reported that one of Rosie staff was escorted out after being caught drawing mustaches on pictures of Elizabeth.  This woman believe she is the only person in world who is right and anyone who thinks otherwise is wrong.  What really gets me is Walters continues to defend this woman and justifies all of this by pointing to the increase in the shows rating.  It seem Walter is more interested in rating than personal feelings.  If I where another Co-Host of that show I would walk off the show and never return.

My thing is she says hurtful nasty things (like the comment she made about the woman who worked for her that had cancer), she gets into things that are totally none of her business (Aikens/Ripa)...and she just starts crap in general.   Is that the only way she can get her fame?

Yes this is a free country, and we do have freedom of speech...why slam the people fighting so we can have that freedom.   Even a (cough cough) "star" like rosie should know when it's best to keep your mouth shut.  But maybe I"m a little sensitive because I just had one friend just go to Bagdad and just heard day before yesterday that another had died who was about to return home....so I'm a little touchy.

i don't think the population as a whole can be broken down into 2 neat and tidy segments of "left" and "right."  i have opinions that could be classified as both.  i also wouldn't say that every single person who identifies as more "left" than "right" is "shocked" when they are slammed for their statements.  People on both sides routinely get slammed by those who disagree with them.  i think there are enough "inane" things said on both sides daily. 
 
You are correct....Rosie has every right to state her beliefs.  You may think they are stupid and that is certainly your right too.  You can certainly call her a "moron."  That doesn't mean what she feels and says isn't right to her and others.  That simply means YOU feel she's a moron.  Thus, anyone who agrees with her (and claps) is also a moron.
 
You think their agreement (and clapping) is sad.  i think it's sad to classify whole groups of strangers as "morons" without knowing anything about them other than they agree with something Rosie says.  Certainly there has to be more to truly being a moron than that?.........slave luci

Say it ain't so?!?!  A show's producer caring more about ratings than anything else?  What is the world coming to?  Have you SEEN the line-ups of TV programming?  Do they care about ANYTHING besides ratings?

i'm not sure she was slamming the people fighting as much as the ones who lied to get them sent there to fight.  Maybe she was, i don't know.  i'm no big fan of Rosie's and i'm not trying to defend all of what she has said.  However, she does have the right to believe it and say it without being attacked for being a fat, ugly lesbian which seems to be where most people take it.

Not quite.  She has a right to believe it, and say it, but others have just as much of a right to criticize her for it.  Freedom of Speech is NOT the same as Freedom From Ridicule.  I may defend to the death her right to say it, but when it's patently stupid, I will defend to the death my right to call her on it.
