As a submissive male who loves bondage: was curious if there were any female dominants out there who love bondage, simply for the pleasure of observing a tightly bound form, and, if so, what were some favorite techniques and implements. Ropes versus straps? Gags?

My favorites are mummification with either climg wrap or a vacu bed. I do not know of anything else that would be total bondage <laughing> I also like restraints to chain, rope, vet wrap and bondage tape.

I happen to be a rope fetishist and a rigger...there is nothing in my opinion that turns me on more than wrapping a boy in my ties..after all they are an extension of my arms and hands,so when the tie is complete,its like I have enveloped him,watching him skirm while 5 feet in the air produces a high for me that out weighs any beverage or leavy material I could injest..I am a rope snob and only use hemp or jute (processed) however I also enjoy using leather and vet wrap ,bondage is my forte,I have been doing it for many years and have been lucky enough to be trained by some of the best...

I love seeing a sub in rope bondage, especially suspension. I would love to have a home with high enough ceilings to do proper suspension bondage. Some day...

@LadyRope: It sounds as though we are definitely on the same page, as far as our mutual love and preference for rope bondage is concerned. Struggling in tightly-cinched and knotted ropes is a sensation like no other for me. As you say, the ropes are an extension of the one doing the tying and I do love feeling the unyielding "hold" of the woman who has me in her proverbial clutches.

Ohhh a rope thread....

I love bondage particularly with rope. Other things are fine...but rope is hot, makes me all melty and easily sends me to my own headspace.

I do so love restrictive bondage along with Shibari and suspension. I too, like LadyRope have been taught by some of the best around (I bet we know some of the same people).

I always suggest for more information about rope bondage one googles: RiggerMorTis, Master Z (Chicago), Midori, Jimi Tatu, and Dov for starters.

I imagine that the very process of being bound would be slow and deliberate. My arms would likely be first, to give me my first taste of helplessness as the ropes are cinched around my wrists and elbows. I imagine that my shoulders would factor into the arm bondage as well, to brace my bound upper arms and to increase the tension overall, reminding me of my plight as I struggle futilely. My legs would be next: ankles, knees, upper thighs; and then -- the moment that makes me shudder -- my bound ankles and wrists are brought together in a tight, inescapable hogtie. Not loosely, with a few inches of slack rope, but flush against each other, held tightly with several windings and knots.

To my pleasure/dismay, it isn't yet finished. More rope is brought out. I can't help but let out a slight moan as I am bound impossibly further -- a thick winding of rope around my bent legs to bolster them into place, around my midsection and arms to pin them together, until I can barely breathe and my body is a single, tightly bound mass bowed into a backward arch.

I love mummification. There are so many ways a sub can be tortured while bound. The problem for me with a lot of bondage devices is that they restrict access to the body in the process. With clingfilm bondage any part can be exposed and re wrapped at will. It can even be flogged off again. Yummy. One thing I do like with rope bondage is to shove the bound victim into a corner and task them to escape - and then punish them for it, of course, snicker.
