My cat just sneezed... I didn't even know they could do that! It was a real humanoid sneeze! He looked at me with confused eyes after. Then he went back to watching Dawn of the Dead.

Ummm...yeah. They do that.
They also choose to hock up a hairball on the carpet and not the tile floor.

My oldest one actually has sneezing fits....he will sneeze like 10 times running, he's actually knocked himself over from the force of it. I have no idea what makes it happen to him, he's actually done it in his sleep. He usually just looks at me like "what!!?" and stalks off like it's MY fault! Probably the only time it's ever a problem is when he's sleeping right next to me on the pillow, and has a bout, scares the living hell outta me! Then i have to get up and wipe the kitty snot out of my ear.....

The other two don't seem to have this problem.....KB has had it no matter where we've lived, so I don't think it's an allergy, he's always lived with either a dog or other cats...besides, he's a house cat, and doesn't get outdoors. Watch his eyes...if they start to water heavily, he may have a cold...also if he starts to wheeze, it's time for a visit to the doctor's.

Either that, or it was his idea of a movie review!

That's good to hear, about it not being all too serious. I'll keep an eye on it, but it seemed to be an isolated incident. He's a two-home cat meaning he moonlights at the neighbor's home. I'll ask them if he's been sneezing. I just found cat snot on my covers (the hard way) and have the sudden hankering for real feline slippers. At least a pair of mittens.

oooohhhhh...you'd better hope that kitty can't read........slippers and mittens???? You may find that next hairball in your bed!!!!! I have found that cats NEVER get mad...they just get even!!!!

Most animals can sneeze - my guinnea pigs do and my birds (although I have a sneeking suspicion they are just taking the piss out of the pigs...)

My kitten sneezes like all the time. I didnt think there way anything unusual about it. But this is also the animal that is attracted to blue cleaning toiletbowl water. I dont really thing anything is "unusual" with her...

My one cat refusese to drink out of the water fountain i have for them...nice, clean cold filtered H2O.....instead, he drinks out of the toilet bowl....go figure!

My cat snores ( he purrs to, but this is snoring). He also eats corn on the cob. I think he's 1/2 dog.

I've only heard a cat fart one time, and that was after the doofus ate a bran muffin.

I used to have a cat, “ninja kitty”, that used to catch bats and bring them into the house. It was very interesting waking up and having to catch the damn things.

He used to suck his own tail too. *shrugs*

Mine crawled up on my chest, got nose to nose and sneezed right in my face. He had a cold. I know because I came down with it the very next day. He was not allowed to watch Animal Planet the rest of the week.

You know, when I collared my slave, I gained a kitten! (One which she already had.)

Growing up, you always see Tom of Tom & Jerry lapping up milk on cartoons. So I thought kittens like milk. The other day, I noted to my slave that I never noticed her giving the kitten any milk.. she told me that they were lactose intolerate! Not the first time I'd heard it, but I thought that they were more mildly intolerate- able to take some, but not drink it like most humans can (as some people are mildly intolerant).

Cats- they're always out to surprise you.

In general cats have very sensitive digestive systems and seafood and milk are not good food choices for them.
