I haven't used a vac-bed, but I have done mummification with cling wrap. The sensations are heat and compression. Mummification can be combined with sensory deprivation, as it was in your video with the hood--and then it seems to heighten the sense of isolation (or abandonment, or nurturing, or whatever you get from sensory deprivation alone). Mummifying much of an area except some part (male genitals get this treatment) seems to increase awareness and focus on that one part.

By the way, including keywords like mummification and vacuum bed and hood might increase attention to this post, particularly if you put them in the title.
